Also. The bardo of doing non-virtuous deeds is like dark clouds or the coming of a dark night; the bardo of doing virtuous deeds is like white linen or a night with moonlight. One can see the bardo of one's own kind, as well as it and one's own birthplace. The bardo of hell is like a burning tree stump, the bardo of animals is like smoke, the bardo of pretas is like water, the bardo of desire realm gods and humans is like gold, and the bardo of the form realm is said to be white entering the womb. If one is born from the formless realm to the lower two realms, there is a bardo. If one is born from the lower two realms to the formless realm, wherever one dies, there the aggregates of the formless realm are formed, and there is no bardo. The bardo of the gods goes upwards, the bardo of humans goes straight ahead, and those who do evil deeds are said to look downwards and crawl like turtles, which seems to refer to the three lower realms. As for lifespan, if the cause of birth is not found, even if it is delayed as expected, it will remain for seven days. If the cause is found, there is no certainty. Even if it is not found, it will change bodies and remain for up to seven times seven days. Because the cause of birth will definitely be found during this period, it will not remain after that. For example, the bardo of the gods, after dying and transferring after seven days, forms the bardo of the gods, or forms the bardo of humans, etc., because the other actions of karma will change, so it will change the seed of the bardo. It is the same for others. Fifth, if one is born into a womb, a reversed view arises, seeing parents having intercourse. In reality, the parents are not having intercourse, but one sees them having intercourse as if it were an illusion, and one becomes attached to it. This is what is said in the Samangpab. In the commentary on the Abhidharmakosha, it is said that one sees the parents having intercourse. If one is born as a female, one will want to separate from women, be attached to men, and want to have intercourse. If one is born as a male, one will want to separate from men, be attached to women, and want to have intercourse. After such a desire arises, how one approaches, one will not see the other limbs of the man and woman, but only the sexual organs of the male and female. Angered by this, that bardo dies, transfers, and is born. When both parents are in a state of intense sexual desire, only thick semen is produced at the end, and after that, both of them

The two drops of semen and blood will not be devoured by demons and will appear. These two drops mix in the mother's birth canal, like the skin that forms when boiled milk cools. Together with this, the bardo ceases. At the same time as the bardo ceases, by the power of the connecting consciousness, other aggregates arise from the subtle parts of the great elements of the other senses, and the corresponding semen and blood combine, along with the senses. The consciousness that enters at that time, those who acknowledge the Alaya consciousness consider it to be the Alaya consciousness, and those who do not acknowledge the Alaya consciousness consider it to be the consciousness of the mind that connects. If one does not want to go to the birth canal, one will not go. If one does not go there, one will not be born there. Therefore, those who have done and accumulated the karma of falling into hell, such as those who slaughter sheep, catch birds, or sell pigs, etc., who do not keep the precepts, in the bardo, see sheep, etc., like in a dream in the birth canal, and run there because of the joy of past habits. Then, being angry at the form of the birth canal, the bardo ceases and one is born into the state of becoming. Similarly, being born into hell and the hungry ghosts with boils, etc., is also the same. Animals, hungry ghosts, humans, and gods who enjoy themselves in the desire realm and the form realm, when they are born in the birth canal, see sentient beings of the same kind as themselves and feel happy. Then, they generate joy and desire there and go, and being angry at the birth canal, the bardo ceases and one is born into the state of becoming. This is what is said in the main text of the ground. The way to be born in hell for those who are not bird catchers and pig sellers, etc., who do not keep the precepts, should also be like this. In the Abhidharmakosha it says: "Smell and place, there are other desires." It means that those who are born from warmth and moisture are smell, and if it is a transformation birth, it is born because of wanting a place. That is to say, if one is born in the hot hell, one wants warmth, and if one is born in the cold hell, one wants coolness, so the bardo goes. This is what is said in the commentary. Egg-born beings are also like womb-born beings, this is what is said in the commentary of the Abhidharmakosha. Secondly, after understanding the characteristics of samsara in detail through the two aspects of suffering and accumulation, wanting to abandon it, and wanting to attain those peaceful states, just having the thought of wanting to be liberated is not enough. Just like entering a burning house, and prisoners entering a prison, not wanting that place of imprisonment, and wanting to escape from there.
