It should be distinguished and called "mother." For the noble ones, vases and the like should not be called ultimate "mother," because the wisdom that sees their true meaning does not find vases and the like; and because what is found by the wisdom that sees the true meaning is said to be the meaning of the ultimate truth. Thirdly, the Svātantrika-Madhyamikas believe that the knowledge that appears to be established by its own characteristics is definitely existent as it appears. For the subject, without distinguishing between right and wrong, they distinguish existence and non-existence by their own characteristics as they appear in the object. As it is said in the Two Truths: "Although appearances are similar, they are distinguished into true and untrue by their ability to function and their inability to function. This is the distinction of the conventional." This school believes that for those who possess ignorance, all things that appear to be established by their own characteristics are appearances tainted by ignorance. Therefore, they do not distinguish between right and wrong in conventional truth. Here, in the Commentary on the Introduction, it is said: "Whatever is false in the conventional is not conventional truth." This refers to the fact that for worldly people who are proficient in language, images of faces and the like are not true on the conventional level, so the conventional truth relative to them is not true. Even so, because seeing the deceptive nature of false objects of knowledge can find meaning, it is conventional truth. Just as the knowledge that perceives images is mistaken about the object of perception, for those who possess ignorance, blue and other things that appear to be established by their own characteristics are also mistaken about the object of perception. If the object to be measured is established as true, then establishing it with such a delusion would be contradictory; if the object to be measured is established as false, then this delusion would be helpful. If this were not the case, if it were not established as true in name, it would not be possible to establish it as conventional truth. If false things like illusions can be established in name, then it would not be possible to establish conventional truth. According to the view of the Prāsaṅgikas, the six consciousnesses that are not tainted by temporary causes of delusion, and the six consciousnesses that are the opposite of these, as well as the six objects grasped by the former six consciousnesses, and the six objects grasped by the latter six consciousnesses, that is, the six mistaken objects and subjects are mistaken conventional truths, and the six non-mistaken objects and subjects are correct conventional truths.

And it is established that it is based on the valid means of the mundane or conventional, and is established as the conventional truth of the true and the false. It is not based on the wisdom that follows the vision of the noble ones. Therefore, in the system of the Madhyamaka itself, for those who have ignorance, the appearance of images and so on, and the appearance of blue and so on, with respect to the object of appearance, there is no confusion or non-confusion. Therefore, it is not made into two kinds of conventional truth, the true and the false. As it is said in the Engaging in the Bodhisattva Deeds, "Whatever is grasped by the six unimpaired senses, the world understands as true. The rest, established by this world, is said to be false by the world." There are two kinds of clinging to the self-characteristic of a person and a dharma, and the opposite of the way of clinging, such as that arising from the immediate delusion of mind by one's own bad tenets, cannot be established by the valid means of conventionality, so it is an exception. Furthermore, the appearance of duality in the wisdom of the omniscient, which is free from all causes that are deceived by the habits of ignorance, is also not a delusion with respect to the object of appearance, because the reason has already been explained elsewhere. The second has three: explaining the meaning of ultimate and truth, explaining the nature of ultimate truth, and explaining the divisions of ultimate. First, in the Clear Words, it is said, "The meaning is also that, and the supreme is also that, therefore it is the ultimate. That itself is the truth, therefore it is the ultimate truth." Therefore, both meaning and supreme are considered to be the ultimate truth itself. The truth of the ultimate truth is non-deception, and that is because the way of abiding is other, and the way of appearing is other, therefore it does not deceive the world. The ultimate truth is established as existing only by the power of the world's convention, as it is said in the commentary on the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning. Therefore, the truth of the conventional truth is the truth in the face of the clinging to truth, and the two ultimate truths are different in word and meaning. The second has two: the actual meaning and the refutation of debate. First, the nature of the ultimate truth is, as said in the Engaging in the Bodhisattva Deeds, that which is obtained by seeing the true meaning of knowledge, as previously explained, and its explanation says: "Among them, the ultimate is the object itself of the distinction of the wisdom of those who see the truth, obtaining its own nature, its own.
