The spokes and so on are not related to the chariot, so they are not parts of the chariot. Therefore, even if there is no chariot with parts, there are no parts of the chariot. At that time, from the perspective of the chariot, neither the parts nor the whole with parts exist. However, the spokes and so on are wholes with parts in relation to their own components, and those components are its parts, so it is not possible to establish parts without a whole with parts. Furthermore, if there is no whole with parts, there is no part, just like: When the chariot is burned, there are no parts, The fire of wisdom burns the whole with parts, Know it in this way. Third, the way to establish it from the difference of names is stated in the commentary on the "Entering the Middle Way": From this aspect, the establishment of the name "chariot" is not only very clearly established in the world, but also, whatever the differences in names here, they should be acknowledged from the perspective of what is widely known in the world without any analysis. For example: That is the whole with parts, also the object with parts, The chariot is the maker, also called the actor, For all the people in the world, it is established as the user. As it is said. That is to say, the chariot depends on the parts and components such as spokes, and is established as the meaning of the name "whole with parts" and "object with parts." Similarly, the spokes and so on depend on the action of taking, and become the maker, and the name of the taker is established in relation to the taking. Some of our own schools say: There is only a collection of parts and components, but because the whole with parts and the object with parts are not distinguished from those things, there is no whole with parts and no object with parts. Similarly, there is only action and no maker, and because the taker is not distinguished from the taking, there is taking but no taker. Those statements are inverted statements about the conventional truth of the world. If that were the case, the parts and so on would also become non-existent. Considering this, the "Entering the Middle Way" says: Do not destroy the conventional truth that is commonly known in the world! Therefore, as far as the ultimate truth is concerned, just as there is no whole with parts and so on, there are no parts and so on. As far as the conventional truth is concerned, just as there are parts and so on, it should also be said that there are wholes with parts and so on, which is from the perspective of the two truths.

It is not lost. Fourth, the benefit of quickly gaining insight based on this is stated in the Commentary on Entering the Bodhisattva's Way: "Because the conventional truths of the world, when examined in detail, do not exist, but are considered to exist when not examined. Therefore, when a yogi examines this in this order, they will be able to penetrate the profound meaning of suchness most quickly. How so? How can a yogi find the existence of something that is non-existent when sought through the sevenfold analysis? Therefore, one can easily enter into suchness. Therefore, its establishment should be acknowledged here as well." Thus, through such an analysis like that of a chariot, one can quickly penetrate the meaning of the absence of inherent existence of suchness. Therefore, this seems very important. In this way, if a yogi who examines in this way believes that a chariot is inherently established, then without a doubt, when searching for whether it has inherent existence through the reasoning of searching with the seven aspects such as one and different, it should be found in one of the seven, but in reality, it is not found in any of them. Even so, the designation of a chariot cannot be denied, because it appears that the term "chariot" is only designated by those whose eyes of wisdom have been obscured by the darkness of ignorance, and it is not inherently established. In this way, a definite understanding will arise, and the yogi will easily enter into suchness. The word "also" in "Therefore, one can easily enter into suchness" shows that conventional truths will not be lost either. The method of decisively negating the inherent existence of a chariot is that the sevenfold analysis is clear, and the reasoning for negation is also very clear. Therefore, based on this, it is easy to realize that a chariot is without inherent existence. In short, based on a chariot, there are three benefits to making the kind of analysis described earlier: the benefit of easily refuting the eternalistic view of imputing inherent existence to phenomena; the benefit of easily refuting the nihilistic view that dependent origination is not possible without inherent existence; and the order of detailed examination by a yogi who achieves these two benefits through a certain method of analysis. First, it is the inherent existence that merely refutes being one or different.
