If someone thinks that they do not accept because it must be established in the ultimate sense, that is not reasonable. Like this, if one is unwilling even when examining Suchness, then it must be assumed that there is no time when the reasoning of the Madhyamaka school engages in analysis. If that time is established, then it is necessary to acknowledge the examiner, the reasoning of the examination, the basis of the examination, and the external opponent with whom one examines. At that time, how can all established things need to be established in the ultimate sense? Merely being excessive is what others have accepted or the ultimate of what has been accepted. Therefore, saying that even without valid cognition, one makes excesses is not satisfactory. Therefore, it should be refuted as it was previously refuted in the first way. Furthermore, it is not reasonable to separately establish that there is no acceptance when examining Suchness, but there is acceptance in conventional terms. Because examining Suchness is not permissible in the ultimate sense, it must be done in conventional terms, which is contradictory. If not existing when examining Suchness means not existing in the ultimate sense, then there is no Madhyamaka who would think that there is acceptance in the ultimate sense. Therefore, that cannot be a characteristic of a consequentialist. Refuting the third view is that saying that Madhyamakas have no acceptance even in conventional terms, as previously stated, has not properly recognized the object to be refuted by reasoning. When the reasoning that refutes self-nature refutes the other, when refuting back, it is seen that it applies equally to one's own system. If one establishes one's own system, because one does not know how to eliminate faults, all dependent origination of samsara and nirvana becomes like Ishvara and existence and non-existence. Therefore, that is a slander against the Madhyamaka and is extremely inferior. Its refutation has been discussed many times before. Examining the Madhyamaka with acceptance or non-acceptance requires acknowledging what qualities are necessary to establish someone as a Madhyamaka. Therefore, it must be assumed that nothing as small as a particle is established in the ultimate sense, and in conventional terms, one must understand the meaning of all illusory dependent origination, so there is something to be accepted. Moreover, it is necessary to refute and establish the opposite of those two, that is, to reject the bad speech that assumes existence in the ultimate sense and non-existence in conventional terms. Therefore, there is valid cognition that understands the meaning of refutation and establishment, and one shows others without distortion as one has understood.

Because it is aimed at the speech of the Prasangika Madhyamikas, and for those who refute those establishments, there is not even a little bit of fault-finding that is in accordance with the Dharma, so this system is the most completely pure. If that is the case, even if one does not know how the wise Madhyamikas themselves establish a faultless system, one should not deny it, but rather one should acknowledge the reasoning of dependent origination, and those with wisdom who are able to cut through all the nets of wrong views should establish the Madhyamika system and make it free from all contradictions, and should not rely on expecting to resolve it through sophistry. In the Clear Words, it also says: "Thus, our side is most completely pure and exists in a way that does not contradict all establishments, and your own coarse, very close, faulty side, because it is very foolish, does not see how faults and virtues exist. Your own faults are..." etc., as quoted earlier, the Madhyamika system that is spoken of, the establishment that comes from the path of establishing the ultimate truth and the measure of conventional truth, because there is no fault to be pointed out, is the most pure, and one should be certain that it is sufficient to establish all the establishments of samsara and nirvana. If it is not like that, if one says that the Madhyamikas do not have their own system, then there is no fault to be pointed out, then all the words that are spoken are false words. For this, one will not be able to raise even a little bit of refutation, because all the reasons are the same. For speech without acceptance, there is no debate to be made with acceptance. Therefore, there is no fault to be pointed out, because nothing has been accepted. Even if one says that, one cannot say, "Saying that all words are false," because having said, "All words are false," there is no debate to be made that that word itself is true, therefore one cannot point out the contradiction of one's own words. In the Entering the Middle Way, it says: "If there were some self established as a real thing, then like the mind, it would not be possible to speak of an established real thing, and it would not change." That is to say, the Vatsiputriyas acknowledge that there is a self that is substantially existent, which is neither one with the aggregates nor different from them. For this, one cannot refute that if it is substantially existent, one must say that it is either one with the aggregates or different from them, and that it is unreasonable to say that it cannot be spoken of as those. Because they
