If this examination wants to show that by preventing all kinds of births, there is no conditioned birth, then, at that time, it will not become like an illusion, but if it can be measured by the son of a barren woman, etc., then, due to the fear that there will be the fault of becoming without dependent origination, it will not be in accordance with them, but it will be in accordance with illusions, etc., which are not contrary to it. Thus, it is clearly stated. The so-called "by this examination" refers to the reason for examining suchness. The so-called "preventing all kinds of births" means preventing all births as the object of prevention without distinction. The meaning of "barren woman," etc., is that if all births are prevented, then like the son of a barren woman and rabbit horns, etc., it will become an unreal entity empty of all functions, and if so, due to the fear that there will be the fault of becoming without dependent origination, it is not the same as the non-birth of the son of a barren woman, etc., who is devoid of all functional abilities, but it is similar to illusions, etc., therefore, it prevents the birth of truth or self-nature. Also, in the commentary on the Four Hundred Verses, it says: If the eyes, etc., do not exist, then how can these sense organs such as the eyes be established as the nature of the ripening of karma? Have we prevented the nature of the ripening of these? If by establishing the prevention of the eyes, etc., then how is this not prevented? Our examination is focused on seeking self-nature. Here, we prevent things from being established by their own nature, but we do not prevent the nature of the ripening of karma, which is done by the eyes, etc., and is dependently originated. Therefore, because it exists, whatever is called ripening, the eyes, etc., exist. Thus, reason prevents so much, and does not prevent so much, as it is very clearly stated. Such a distinction is stated in one occasion, then all occasions that are not stated are also the same, so it must be combined in any case. Therefore, seeking from one's own perspective, existing with one's own nature existing on the object, reason prevents it, but does not prevent mere existence, because reason is said to be focused on seeking self-nature, so reason is

Because it is searching for whether self-nature exists or not, that negation also means negation of self-nature, so these two need to be distinguished. Not only does it not negate such karmic results, but the Madhyamikas must also acknowledge it, as it says in the continuation of that scripture: Therefore, the wise do not add observations that conform to the ultimate truth to the meaning of what worldly people say, but acknowledge that the maturation of karma is inconceivable, just as illusion arises from illusion, all worldly phenomena should be acknowledged. In this way, if the two truths established by oneself are harmed by the reasoning that determines the ultimate truth, then the system of establishing the two truths has an internal contradiction. How can one be considered an outstanding wise person for establishing the two truths? If there is no internal contradiction in these two systems, then it is contradictory to refute the establishment of the conventional truth with the reasoning that determines the ultimate truth. The Clear Words also says: You are not proficient in the ultimate truth and the conventional truth, so you add reason in some places, thereby destroying them in an irrational way. I am proficient in establishing the conventional truth, so I abide in the position of worldly people, and the reason put forward to exclude one aspect of the conventional truth will be refuted by other reasons, just like the elders of the world, only you will be refuted for violating worldly customs, not the conventional truth itself. This means that only the sects that violate the conventional truth are negated, not the conventional truth itself. In that, adding the observation of reasoning, if the conventional truth is destroyed, it is said that one is not proficient in establishing the two truths. Therefore, it is definitely not the intention of this teacher to negate conventional forms and so on with reason. In short, not only the Madhyamikas, but also the views of the Indian sects that establish the two truths of their own school, even if others think that there are contradictions in his establishment of the two truths, but in the two truths established by himself, the reason for the ultimate truth side
