Gro lung pa (place name) thought so. In the chapter on the types of strength, it is said that the twelve parts of scripture and other holy Dharma are said to be the eighth type, so should it be done that way? The way of faith is to ascertain what those places are like, to hold them without contradiction, and to think about them repeatedly. The two sets of eight, acceptance of suffering and firm belief in the Dharma, are excerpts from what is said in the Bodhisattva-bhumi, especially the firm belief in the Dharma appears in more detail. How should one act when practicing these? When practicing any kind of patience, one should also have the six perfections and complete the six paramitas, except for establishing patience in patience, which is the giving of patience, the rest is the same as what was said before. Fifth, the meaning of summarizing these is: The basis of practice is to remember and meditate on the generation of Bodhicitta, because it is the basis for establishing all sentient beings in the patience of exhaustion of outflows, so it should be continuously increased, and even the patience of the high grounds should be taken as the object of aspiration for practice; for the patience training of beginners, the goals should be clear, and one should study it properly and in accordance with the Dharma; even if one exceeds the limits mentioned above, one should strive to correct it. If If one neglects these practices, one will often be stained by many great faults, and it will be very difficult to practice the wonderful conduct of Bodhisattvas in future lives. One should regard the key points of the path as precious, practice what one can do from now on, and cultivate the intention for what one cannot do. As it is said in the Sutra Requested by Good Arms, one can perfect the Paramita of Patience with little effort and little suffering. There are five points to learning the Paramita of Diligence: the nature of diligence, the method of entering into practice, the classification of diligence, what to do when practicing, and the meaning of summarizing these. The first point is: Focusing on the goal of virtue, showing an appearance of joy. The Bodhicaryavatara says: "Diligence is delight in virtue." The Bodhisattva-bhumi says: For the sake of accumulating virtue and benefiting sentient beings, the mind manifests non-inverted joy, and the actions of body, speech, and mind that arise from it. The second is

Therefore, one should contemplate the benefits of diligence and the faults of non-diligence extensively. If one becomes accustomed to this, diligence will arise. The benefits of that are: From the perspective of arousing higher aspiration, it eliminates all suffering and darkness, is the foundation for completely abandoning the lower realms, the noble diligence praised by all Buddhas, whoever it may be, should always rely on it. Whatever crafts exist in this world, and whatever crafts exist in the world beyond, if one strives diligently, it is not difficult to obtain them. Which wise person would decline due to the power of diligence? Those who have entered the path to Buddhahood, they have seen the faults of dullness and sleep, therefore they constantly abide in diligent practice. This is what I encourage them to do. Furthermore, in the Ornament of the Sutras, it is also said: Among the gatherings of virtuous qualities, diligence is the most supreme. By relying on it in this way, one obtains its results. Through diligence, one quickly attains the supreme state of bliss. Accomplishments include both worldly and transworldly. Through diligence, one can obtain the desire for worldly pleasures. Through diligence, one can possess extreme purity. Through diligence, one can be liberated from the aggregates of existence. Through diligence, one can attain supreme enlightenment and Buddhahood. Furthermore, one who possesses diligence is not defeated by enjoyment, one who possesses diligence is not defeated by afflictions, one who possesses diligence is not defeated by discouragement, one who possesses diligence is not defeated by what has been obtained. Furthermore, in the Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra, it is also said: Because the virtuous qualities of a Bodhisattva are to be accomplished in such a way, the main and supreme cause is diligence alone. Others are not like that. Therefore, the Tathāgatas teach that diligence is the cause for obtaining unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Furthermore, in the Compendium of Perfections, it is also said: If one possesses completely unflagging and great diligence, there is nothing that cannot be obtained or accomplished. Furthermore, all non-humans are also happy to help him. All kinds of samādhi can be obtained. Days and nights, all times, pass with fruit. One does not decline due to the accumulation of qualities. Through meanings that transcend human laws, one grows like a lotus flower.
