Looking, you do not deceive. Because you have no faults, you are followed. Well-tamed, you are easy to understand. Your speech possesses good qualities. For a while, first your speech captivates the minds of those who listen. Then, when contemplated in the mind, it also eliminates desire, hatred, and ignorance. It relieves the poor and also protects the undisciplined. It makes those who are happy weary, so your speech fits with everything. It generates joy for the wise, and also increases the intelligence of the intermediate. It completely destroys the dimness of the lowest, so this speech benefits all beings. As it is said, one should remember. The qualities of the mind are twofold. Among them, the quality of wisdom is that, like a myrobalan fruit in the palm of one's hand, one knows all knowable things, just as they are and how many there are, and one enters without obstruction. Therefore, the wisdom of the Able One pervades all knowable things. But for others, the knowable is vast and the knowledge is small, so it does not pervade. Also, in the praise that is worthy of praise, it is said: Only your wisdom pervades all knowable things, but for all others besides you, only the knowable remains. And, the Dharma that is always included in the Blessed One, all kinds of sources, are like a myrobalan fruit in the palm of your hand, becoming the object of your mind. Dharmas, with movement and without movement, one and various, each individually, like winds moving in the sky, your mind has no obstruction. As it is said, one should remember. The quality of loving-kindness is that, just as sentient beings are bound by afflictions, the Able One is also bound by great compassion. When he sees beings suffering, great compassion arises continuously. In the One Hundred and Fifty Verses, it is said: All these beings are bound by afflictions without distinction. You are bound by compassion for a long time in order to liberate beings from afflictions. Should I first pay homage to you, or to the great compassion that makes you remain in samsara, knowing the faults, for so long? And, in the Chapter of the Truthful One, it is also said: Always, by the darkness of the darkness of ignorance, beings whose minds are obscured, and who have fallen into the prison of samsara,

If not observed, the upright sage will generate compassion. Thus, sentient beings who are conquered by desire, whose craving is intense and who constantly crave objects, who are immersed in the ocean of craving and attachment, if observed, will generate the great compassion of the Victorious One. Those sentient beings who are extremely tormented by various forms of sickness and sorrow, if observed, for the sake of eliminating all suffering, will generate the great compassion of the one who possesses the ten powers. The great compassion of the Sage constantly arises, and it is never possible that it does not arise. It abides in the minds of all sentient beings, therefore that Buddha has no faults. As it is said, one should remember. The qualities of activity are: the spontaneous accomplishment of the activities of body, speech, and mind, and the constant and uninterrupted benefit to all sentient beings. Moreover, from the perspective of those to be tamed, if they are capable of being tamed, the Sage has never failed to connect them with perfection, nor has he failed to rescue them from decline, therefore he certainly accomplishes all that is appropriate to do. As it is said in the Hundred and Fifty Verses: You have explained the destruction of afflictions, You have shown the deceptions of the demons, You have spoken of the unbearable nature of samsara, You have also shown the path of fearlessness. With the intention to benefit, with compassion, What should be done for sentient beings, What have you not done? What else is there? Thus. And in the Praise of the Praiseworthy it is said: From what have you not rescued beings from decline? What perfection is there that has not been connected with the world? As it is said, one should remember. These are brief ways of remembering the Buddha. If one remembers from various doors, then faith will also arise from many doors. If one remembers again and again, then the strength will be great and the duration will be long. The qualities of the other two jewels are also the same. If one cultivates in this way and it becomes familiar, then most of the scriptures and commentaries will show the qualities of the Three Jewels, and they will appear as instructions. Those who, thinking that analytical meditation is conceptual thought, abandon it at the time of practice, are closing many doors of accumulating merit and purifying obscurations, and therefore it should be known as a great obstacle to taking the immeasurable essence on the leisure and endowment.
