The action of the body is: resting in a place of rest, or going to a place that is in accordance with the Dharma, or proceeding on the path for the sake of the Dharma, and sitting in front of a Khenpo, Acharya, Lama, and others who are in accordance with the Dharma in a place of rest, and sitting cross-legged on a throne, etc. The action of speech is: receiving the transmission of the twelve scriptures that have not been received, and making them fully understood, and reciting those that have been received, and explaining them to others, and speaking words that are mixed with others for the purpose of generating diligence. The action of mind is: sleeping in the middle of the night, and going to a secluded place, thinking about the meaning of what has been heard, and meditating with the nine mental abidings, and not speaking while striving for insight, and when tired in hot weather, wanting to enjoy the pleasure of sleep at an inappropriate time to dispel drowsiness. The two actions of day and night are: not sleeping in the upper and lower parts of the day and night, which shows the actions of body and speech. Saying "sleeping" also only shows the actions of night and mind. To practice these ten with mindfulness is: if you start to do an action of walking or behavior, first of all, keep mindfulness close to that action and act carefully. Being controlled by these two, in what way should you examine, and in what way should you investigate, in that way you should think and understand. There are also four ways: The first is: for the ten bases such as the action of the body, in whatever way the base of how to examine, in that way you think like that, for example: for the action of going and returning, you should know as it is said in the discipline of going and coming, and then at that time think that you are doing this and that now. The second is: in whatever direction in what way the direction of how to examine, in that way you think like that, for example: when walking, you should know not to go to the five places such as selling alcohol, and the ways to go to other places, and then at that time abide in mindfulness. The third is: at whatever time in what way the time of how to examine, at that time you think in that way, for example: you should know that you can go to the village in the morning, but not in the afternoon, and then act like that, and at that time also

It is like abiding in mindfulness. Fourth, those actions that need to be examined in what way, one should perceive them in that way as they are. For example, remembering all the instructions about walking, such as being very careful when walking and going to other residences. In short, remembering how many activities there are during the day and night, thereby knowing what should be done and what should not be done among those activities, and also when entering and exiting, one should maintain mindfulness of everything, knowing that one is now doing this or that entering or exiting action. If you do this, you will not be defiled by downfall in this life, and you will not fall into the lower realms after death, and it is said that you will abide in the accumulation of causes for attaining the realization of the path that has not yet been attained. These two, acting with mindfulness and guarding the doors of the senses, are written by the noble Asanga, quoting the sutras and explaining their meaning. If you strive for these two, then all virtuous deeds will become different from others, and especially you will be able to completely purify the precepts, and easily accomplish the non-conceptual samadhi that is combined with shamatha and vipassana, so you should strive for it. Knowing the measure of food has four qualities. Not too little, if it is too little, you will feel hungry and weak, and you will not have the strength for virtuous deeds, so eat only to the extent that you will not be troubled by hunger until the time for eating tomorrow. Not too much, if it is too much, the body will be heavy like carrying a burden, breathing will be difficult, drowsiness and sleep will increase, and it will become unsuitable for practice, so you will not have the strength to abandon afflictions. Through food digestion and suitability, abandon the old painful feelings that arise from relying on food, and do not generate new painful feelings. Not afflicted, moderate food is that which does not produce faults and abides in happiness. This also depends on practicing the antidote to craving for food, which is to contemplate its faults. There are three faults, the fault arising from the cause of enjoyment is, no matter how delicious the food is, after it is chewed by the teeth and moistened by saliva, you should contemplate that it looks like vomit. The fault arising from food digestion is
