Furthermore, upon seeing what will fear not arise? Thus it was said. And in its commentary as well: Therefore, one should always feel weary of the great wilderness of samsara, which is difficult to traverse due to its impenetrable thicket that cannot be fathomed by ordinary means, and one should cultivate the proper attitude that is in accordance with it. It should be understood as it was said. Moreover, the fault of repeatedly rising and falling is: Having become Indra, worthy of worldly offerings, one falls back to earth again due to the power of karma. Even having become a Chakravartin, one becomes a servant again in samsara. Having long enjoyed the pleasure of touching the breasts and waist of heavenly maidens, one must then endure the unbearable touch of the grinding and cutting wheels of hell. Having long dwelt on the summit of Mount Meru, where the touch of the feet is soft and pleasant, one must again endure the unbearable suffering of being burned by molten iron, thinking, "I must endure this unbearable suffering." Having frolicked and rejoiced with heavenly maidens, and having cherished the blossoming of beautiful gardens, one will again have one's limbs, ears, and nose cut off by the inhabitants of the forests of sword-like leaves. Having gently floated with heavenly maidens, with beautiful faces and golden lotuses in hand, one must again enter the immeasurable rivers of hell, the scalding hot springs that cannot be endured. Having experienced the great pleasure of desire in the heavenly realms, and having attained the pleasure of detachment like Brahma, one must again endure the unending suffering of becoming firewood for the fires of Avici. Having attained the position of the sun and moon, illuminating the entire world with one's own light, one will again fall into utter darkness, unable to see even one's outstretched hand. Thus it was said. The three wheels of grinding, etc., exist in the three hells of crushing, black lines, and heat, respectively. Frolicking with heavenly maidens refers to being attended by heavenly maidens. The pleasure of desire in the heavenly realms refers to the desire realms above the Thirty-three. The light of the sun and moon is spoken of as it is known in the world, without distinguishing between the support and the supported. If distinguished, it refers to the light of the palaces of those two. By these examples, thinking of all the ways of going from high to low, one should become weary of existence, for all the perfections of existence.

This is because it will eventually decline. As it is said in the Vinaya Sutra: "Accumulation will eventually be exhausted, high positions will eventually fall, meeting will eventually lead to separation, and living will eventually lead to death." Just like that. The fault of having no friends is: In this way, you will make mistakes, please light up the light of the three lamps! You will enter that solitary, sun and moon cannot shine, boundless darkness. This is what is said. You will make mistakes, please know that you must die as mentioned above. Please light up the light of merit. The three merits refer to the virtues of the three doors of body, speech, and mind, or from the three foundations such as giving. Boundless darkness refers to the darkness of ignorance. Entering alone means, as it is said in the Bodhisattvacharyavatara: "This body is born alone, even the flesh and bones born together, will be scattered separately after destruction, let alone other friends? Born alone at birth, and dying alone at death, suffering will not be shared by others, then what is the use of hindering friends?" Just like that. Thus, the six are summarized into three, that is, there is no place to trust in samsara, and no matter how much you enjoy its happiness, you cannot be satisfied, and you have entered samsara from the beginningless. The first aspect has four points: It is not reliable to obtain a body, because the body will be abandoned again and again. It is not reliable to do good and evil, because there is no certainty. It is not reliable to obtain perfection, because it will become high and low. It is not reliable to associate with people, because they will leave alone. The third aspect is: connecting the continuum again and again, that is, the end of life after life cannot be seen. Like this, it should also be thought about in summary. Third, meditate on the three sufferings, for example: if you put cold water on a hot boil or sore, it will feel comfortable, just like the feelings of sentient beings in samsara are happiness. But this will also cause suffering at any time, so it is the suffering of change. Not only this feeling, but also other minds and mental factors corresponding to this feeling, and the contaminated realms that arise from the object of focus, are also the suffering of change. The pain of being burned by boils is like salt water.
