།ལྕགས་གླེབས་པ་ཚ་ཞིང་རབ་ཏུ་འབར་བས་ལུས་ཡོངས་སུ་དཀྲི་བ་དང་ལྕགས་ཟངས་ཆེན་པོ་འགྱུར་བྱེད་བསྐོལ་བས་གང་ཞིང་ཀུན་ཏུ་འབར་བའི་ནང་དུ་སྤྱིའུ་ཚུགས་སུ་བཅུག་ནས་བསྐོལ་བ་ན་སྟེང་འོག་དང་ཐད་ཀ་རྣམས་སུ་འགྲོའོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་པགས་པ་དང་ཤ་ཁྲག་རྣམས་ཞིག་ནས་ཀེང་རུས་འབའ་ཞིག་ལུས་པའི་ཚེ་ཡང་ཕྱིར་ཕྱུང་ནས་ལྕགས་ཀྱི༌ས་གཞི་ལ་འགྲེམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་པགས་པ་དང་ ཤ་ཁྲག་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་ཡང་ནང་དུ་འཇུག་གོ །ལྷག་མ་གཞན་ནི་ཚ་བ་དང་འདྲའོ། །མནར་མེད་ན་ནི། ཤར་ཕྱོགས་ནས་ས་གཞི་དཔག་ཚད་བརྒྱ་ཕྲག་དུ་མ་ཡོད་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་འབར་ཞིང་མཆེད་པ་ལས། མེ་འབར་བའི་ཤུགས་འོངས་ཏེ་དེས་སེམས་ཅན་དེ་དག་གི་པགས་པ་དང་ཤ་དང་རྒྱུས་པ་དང་རུས་པ་རྣམས་རིམ་གྱིས་བཤིག་ནས་རྐང་ལ་ཐུག་པར་བྱེད་དེ། ཡང་ཁ་ནས་ལྕེ་ཕྱུང་སྟེ་ལྕགས་ཀྱི་ཕུར་པ་བརྒྱས་བརྒྱངས་ནས་གླང་གི་ཀོ་བ་ལ་བྱེད་པ་བཞིན་དུ་ཐང་བཅད་དེ་གཉེར་མ་དང་ཁམ་ཁུམ་མེད་པར་བྱེད་དོ། In the Hot Hell, those beings are put by the hell guards into many iron and copper vessels that are extremely hot and burning, boiled and roasted like fish, and an extremely hot and burning iron skewer is thrust through their buttocks and out through the crown of their heads, and flames blaze forth from the two holes of their mouths, eyes, noses, and ears, and from all the pores of their body hair. They are laid face up or face down on the extremely hot iron ground and pounded and tormented with hot and burning iron hammers. In the Very Hot Hell, a three-pronged iron skewer is thrust into their buttocks, with the two points piercing through their two shoulders on the left and right, and the middle point piercing through the crown of their heads. Because of this, flames blaze forth from the openings of their mouths and so on. Their entire bodies are wrapped with hot and burning iron sheets, and they are placed headfirst into a large iron and copper cauldron filled with boiling molten metal that is burning everywhere, and they move up, down, and in all directions. At that time, their skin, flesh, and blood rot away, and when only their skeletons remain, they are also taken out and spread out on the iron ground. Then, their skin and flesh grow back, and they are put back in again. The rest is similar to the Hot Hell. In the Uninterrupted Hell, starting from the east, there are hundreds of thousands of yojanas of land that are burning and spreading everywhere, and the power of the flames comes forth, gradually destroying the skin, flesh, sinews, and bones of those beings until they reach their feet, and like the wick of a butter lamp, their entire bodies are covered with blazing flames. The other three directions are also the same.

The remaining residue is also like being extremely hot. These are only rough damages, but there are also many other various kinds of damages. As for the size of the place where they are located and those sufferings, they are written as they are stated in the Basic Sarvastivada Vinaya. As for how long those sufferings are experienced, it is said in the Letter to a Friend: Thus, suffering is extremely unbearable, Even if experienced for hundreds of thousands of billions of years, As long as the non-virtue is not exhausted, One will not be separated from life. As it is said, as long as the karmic power of experiencing those sufferings is not exhausted, one must continue to experience them. Among them, fifty human years is one day for the Four Great Kings. Thirty days is a month, twelve months is a year, and five hundred years is the lifespan of the Four Great Kings. For all of this, one day, thirty days is a month, twelve months is a year, and five hundred years is the lifespan of the Reviving Hell. Similarly, one hundred, two hundred, four hundred, eight hundred, and one thousand six hundred human years are one day in sequence from the Thirty-three Gods to the Other-Emitted Control Gods. The length of life is one thousand, two thousand, four thousand, eight thousand, and sixteen thousand heavenly years. These are in sequence from the Black Line Hell to the Hot Hell, each day lasting from one thousand to sixteen thousand of their own years. It is said in the Abhidharmakosha: Fifty human years, In the desire realm gods, The lower ones have one day and night, The upper ones increase by two.
