Then, while experiencing suffering, one constantly accumulates sins, and even if one dies from the lower realms, one must be reborn into the lower realms, making liberation difficult. Just experiencing those (sufferings) will not change liberation. Just like that, while experiencing those (sufferings), other sins will arise. As it is said. Like this, after thinking about how difficult it is to obtain (a human body), if one still uses this basis for evil deeds, it is simply too wasteful. One should spend time practicing the Dharma and generate the desire to take the essence. In the "Letter to a Friend," it says: "It is more difficult than a yoke hole in the great ocean meeting a turtle. It is even more difficult to obtain a human body from animals. Therefore, Your Majesty, please accomplish its fruit by practicing the Dharma. Whoever uses a golden vessel adorned with jewels to sweep away foul vomit is even worse than someone who is born as a human but commits sinful deeds. That is the most foolish person." In the "Exhortation to Study," it also says: "The human body is extremely difficult to obtain. Having obtained it, one should diligently practice whatever one desires." As it is said. Furthermore, when the great yogi spoke to the venerable one about the affairs of Bare, he said that this leisure and endowment is difficult to obtain. In Angren, there was a place called Reme Gyakar, which was very strong. After being robbed by the enemy, it was in danger for a long time. An old man missed that castle very much. Once, he heard that the castle had been taken back. Even though he could not walk, he leaned on a spear and dragged his body, saying that it would be good if taking back Reme Gyakar was not a dream. One should also feel happy like that when obtaining leisure and endowment, and then practice the Dharma. As Potowa said, one should repeatedly cultivate that kind of mind. Like this, in order to generate a fully qualified mind that wants to take the essence on the basis of leisure, one must contemplate the four dharmas. Among them, what must be practiced is: all sentient beings only want happiness and do not want suffering, and achieving happiness and eliminating suffering also depends only on the supreme Dharma. What can be practiced is: because there is the external condition of a spiritual friend and the internal condition of having leisure and endowment. Furthermore, what must be practiced in this life is: if one does not practice in this life, then in many lifetimes, leisure and endowment will be very difficult to obtain.
