It seems very little. Like this, what has been said before is only rough. Regarding the subtle faults and merits during meditation, one must rely on virtuous friends and also understand through one's own meditation, so I will not elaborate further. These methods of meditation are based on the previous instructions of the Lamrim and have been expanded. As it says in Potowa's "Béu Bum": Some people, when listening and contemplating, use reason to determine selflessness, but when meditating, they say they only meditate on non-conceptuality. In that case, it becomes unrelated emptiness, because it is meditated on separately, so it will not become an antidote. Therefore, even during meditation, one should separately examine one and many, dependent origination, etc., and also abide in a state of slight non-conceptuality. If you meditate like that, it will be an antidote to afflictions. Wanting to follow the one deity, wanting to practice the way of the pāramitās, that is the method of cultivating wisdom. That is, after becoming accustomed to the selflessness of persons, then practice in that way. As it says. Furthermore, Lord Atiśa also said: Who realized emptiness? It is Nāgārjuna and his disciple Chandrakīrti, who were prophesied by the Tathāgata and who saw the truth of the nature of reality. Through the instructions transmitted from them, one will realize the truth of the nature of reality. So he said. The way to guide it is also as Atiśa said in the instructions of Madhyamaka, which is to alternate between analytical meditation and stabilizing meditation that abides in the meaning of the analysis. This is no different from the view of Śāntarakṣita. As mentioned before, the views of the Madhyamakāvatāra, the Madhyamakahrdaya, and Śāntideva are also like that. There are also many such statements in the treatises of Maitreya and Ārya Asaṅga. Since Śāntipa, a scholar who holds this view without distortion, has also clearly explained it in the Prajñāpāramitā instructions, the way to cultivate vipaśyanā seems to be in accordance with the treatises and instructions transmitted from Nāgārjuna and Asaṅga. Fourth, the extent to which vipaśyanā is accomplished through meditation: Like this, when one examines and meditates with the wisdom of separate analysis, before the arising of the extreme pliancy mentioned earlier, it is in accordance with vipaśyanā. From the arising of extreme pliancy onwards, it is the nature of vipaśyanā.

Therefore, the nature and manner of arising of pliancy are as previously explained. Since this also possesses the pliancy drawn forth by the previous attainment of calm abiding without deterioration, it is not merely a general possession of pliancy. So what is it? If one can generate pliancy through the power of analytical meditation, then from that point onwards it transforms into insight. This is the same for both insight that focuses on suchness and insight that focuses on the extent of things. Thus, in the Explanation of the Intent of the Sutras, it is said: "Bhagavan, until a Bodhisattva has attained pliancy of body and mind, what is the mental activity of contemplating within the mind the image of the object of concentration on those dharmas that have been well considered? Maitreya, it is not insight, but it should be said to be in accordance with and in harmony with aspiration for insight." And also, in the Instructions on the Perfection of Wisdom, it is said: "He abides in that very nature of having attained pliancy of body and mind, and examines individually with special delight in the object of the image of inner meditative concentration on the meaning of what has been thought. Until pliancy of body and mind has arisen, it is mental activity in accordance with insight, and when it has arisen, it is insight." Thus it is taught that the ways in which calm abiding and insight focused on the extent of things become integrated are the same as those focused on suchness. If one can generate pliancy through one's own power, then one can also generate single-pointedness of mind through it. Therefore, the generation of single-pointedness through the power of analytical meditation with discriminative awareness is a quality of the accomplishment of calm abiding. Thus, if someone who has well accomplished calm abiding engages in analytical meditation, it also helps calm abiding, so one should not think that if one engages in analytical meditation with discriminative awareness, one will lose a small portion of stability. The measure of whether one is engaging in the cultivation of insight through stabilizing meditation and analytical meditation focused on suchness is whether one has gained a pure, non-mistaken understanding of either of the two views of selflessness and cultivates it by focusing on it. It must be distinguished by this, and it cannot be distinguished by anything else.
