Nor is it in that itself, because arising from each (thing) is not established. Thus it is said. Those who say that it arises from its own nature have not seen that the roughness of the lotus root and the softness of the petals are made by someone's effort. Likewise, it has not been seen that peacocks, etc., are held by someone and then arranged with colors and shapes. Therefore, the arising of things is only from their own nature, they say. This is unreasonable, if it arises from no cause, then the arising that exists simultaneously with place and time must exist in all places and times. Or it must not exist anywhere, because it is impossible to point out the existence or non-existence of the reasons why it arises here and does not arise here. The feathers of the peacock will also exist on the crow, and so on. In short, if one arises, it arises from everything, or it will never arise. In order to obtain the fruit, all the efforts that the people of the world make for its cause will become meaningless. It is also said in the "Entering the Middle Way": If one thinks that it arises only from no cause, then all things will always arise from all things. In order to produce fruit, this world will not collect seeds, etc., in hundreds and thousands of ways. Thus it is said. Thus, because of seeing the harm to the fourfold arising (four ways of arising), it is established that there is no arising from the four extremes. For that (no arising from the four extremes), there is pervasion by no arising from its own nature, as was previously established when refuting the other extremes. Therefore, the absence of self-nature in things will also necessarily be determined by this. This, when a refutation is made, is a later inference that arises depending on the function of that (refutation), but in reality there is no statement that directly establishes the thesis. The "Entering the Middle Way" says: Because it does not arise from self, other, both, and without cause, things are without self-nature. Thus, summarizing the meaning of the statements that harm the four extremes of arising, this shows how the later inference arises depending on the sign on the fruit of stating the refutation, but it is not stated to the outsider in that way from the beginning. Thus, relying on the refutation of arising from its own nature, things

If one gains certainty about the absence of inherent existence, it becomes easier to gain certainty about the absence of inherent existence in non-things as well. Therefore, the Madhyamaka view of realizing that all phenomena are empty of inherent existence is easily attained. Furthermore, the Seventy Stanzas on Emptiness states: "Whatever is dependently arisen, that is inherently peaceful." And the Entering the Middle Way also states: "Because things arise dependently, these discriminations cannot be examined. Therefore, this reasoning of dependent arising cuts through all nets of wrong views." As it is said, if one relies on the sign of dependent arising and gains certainty about the emptiness of inherent existence in sprouts and so on, then, since cutting off deviations is very clear in the mind, a little will be said. Here, a sprout does not have inherent existence established by its own nature, because it arises depending on its own causes and conditions. For example, like an image. This is a subsequent inference made by another's measure. For example, when an image of a face appears, small children think that eyes, ears, etc., appear, that is how it is in the face of such a mind, but do not think that things as they appear are their own state, but as if thinking that things are their own state or way of being, sentient beings also, for the phenomena of experience and appearance, are not established by the power of the mind that appears as such, but think that for those things, as they appear, in their own nature, there is a way of existing on the object, this is the way of imputing existence of inherent existence. Such a nature of the object is the meaning of one's own nature, inherent existence, and autonomy, and if such a thing exists, then it contradicts dependence on other causes and conditions, and if it does not contradict, then the already established vase does not need to arise from causes and conditions again, which cannot be allowed to be admitted. Thus, the Four Hundred also states: "Whatever arises in dependence, that is not independent. All these are without independence, therefore there is no self." Its commentary also states: "Here, whatever is its own nature and inherent existence and autonomy, and does not depend on others, then for such a self-established one, dependent arising does not exist. All conditioned phenomena are also dependently arisen. Thus, a thing depends on what
