Now, the root of the ultimate is that the consensual consciousness of the disputants is not harmed. Therefore, when the world is not harmed, it is said that, as previously stated, it is considered that only that nature is not valid. It is not that when analyzing that nature, the consensual consciousness that is not harmed is not considered to be harmful. If it were not so, there would be no place to show the individual non-common intentions as harmful. Moreover, there are various situations of accepting and not accepting the scriptures. Even those who accept have different meanings of direct and indirect. If that also needs to be established by reasoning, then what other reasoning needs to be shown? If you show the other party that if you accept this, then this must also be accepted, or if you show that you do not accept this, then do not accept this either, how can you be sure without such a reason? Therefore, when all the roots of harm and establishment are traced back to the end, they all come down to the consensual consciousness of the disputants not being harmed. If you accept something that contradicts it, you will see that your own experience is harmed. Not going beyond this is the rule of all Madhyamaka and Pramana. Even so, there will be no fault that emptiness and so on can be established only through consensual consciousness, just as sound is produced, although it is established by direct perception, impermanence does not necessarily need to be established by direct perception. In short, the root cause of the establisher and the harmer ultimately comes down to direct perception, but the object of the root establishment does not necessarily need to be established by direct perception. Thirdly, through it, the remaining sects will also be excluded. If the nature is different, just like there is yogurt in a wooden bowl, there are two aspects of the aggregates having a self and the self having aggregates, the dependent and the depended. Because the nature is not other, there is no dependent and depended, just like what is said about the chariot. The Entering the Middle Way also says: "There is no self in the aggregates, nor are there aggregates in the self. These are all non-existent. Why are these? If otherness exists, there should be otherness here. Otherness does not exist, therefore this is only a distinction." And so on. The sect of the self and aggregates being combined is also the same as what is said about the chariot, so it should be understood in that way. It says there that I do not want to have form, because I.

It is meaningless and has no function. If there is a cow elsewhere, it is not different from having form, and I am neither different from form nor am I the same as form. Thus it is said. Having a cow is like Devadatta having a cow. Having form is like Devadatta having form. If it is thought that only the collection of aggregates is the self, that is also unreasonable. Because it is said in the sutras that the self is nominally designated based on the five aggregates. Therefore, the basis of designation should not become the designated object. As it is said in the Madhyamakavatara: The sutra says that it is established based on the aggregates, therefore, the collection of aggregates is not the self. Thus it is said. Furthermore, if the collection of aggregates is the self, then there is the fault of the agent and the action becoming one, which is stated in the Madhyamakavatara and its commentary. Because each aggregate is desired to be closely grasped as the self, then it must be desired that all five aggregates are closely grasped. Thus, the collection of aggregates must also become closely grasped. The collection is the basis for the designation of the self, but the sutras say that it is not the self, from which it is clear that the continuum of aggregates should also be regarded in the same way. If those are not the self, but like when the spokes and axle of a chariot are assembled, a special shape is obtained and it is designated as a chariot, similarly, if it is thought that the collection of forms and so on is designated as the self when it has a special shape, then shape only exists in form, so there is no place to establish the self in mind and so on, as it is said in the Madhyamakavatara: If you say it is shape, that only exists in form, it is reasonable for you to accept that those collections are the self, but the collections of mind and so on are not the self, because those collections have no shape. Thus it is said. Therefore, the seven characteristics of the chariot's own nature do not exist anywhere, and although it is nominally designated based on its own parts, the self also does not have the seven characteristics of being one or different from the aggregates anywhere, but because the two are similar in being nominally designated based on the aggregates, it is established that they are used as examples and meanings to make a summary. Fourth, the way in which a person appears like an illusion based on that. There are two meanings of illusion, such as saying that ultimate truth is like an illusion, it is only established as existing, but it is denying reality, and saying that forms and so on are like illusions, is emptiness of their own nature.
