Moreover, within that, if one speaks according to the system of Chandrakirti, then it is contradictory for those to have no self-established system. Similarly, it is unreasonable to hope to be liberated from commitments and to say that all designations are established solely from the perspective of others. For one must acknowledge that form and so forth exist only from the perspective of others. Regarding the statement that "one must acknowledge that form and so forth exist only from the perspective of others," even if one does not acknowledge that form and so forth exist, it is still very necessary to establish them from the perspective of others. Therefore, there is no liberation from commitments. At that time, because one must acknowledge the "other" in whose perspective it is established, and the establisher himself, and so forth, saying "I acknowledge it only from the perspective of others" not only does not help to have no self-established system, but is also harmful. If one says, "I did not say that there is no self-established system and that I acknowledge it only from the perspective of others, but it appears in your minds," then if one denies the directly perceived, which even the worldly Lokayatas cannot deny, it is amazing that you do not perceive what you yourselves say, but we perceive what you hear, and so forth. If that is the case, then what is the need for definitive words such as "no acknowledgment" and so forth? For no matter what one says, one can ultimately deny it, so there is no fault to be imposed. If one says that even consequentialism is established only from the perspective of others and is not considered one's own system, then what is the use of having faith in the system of Chandrakirti, who establishes the treatises of consequentialism by refuting the system of intrinsic existence? Because intrinsic existence is not valid in one's own system, consequentialism is also not valid. Just as consequentialism is valid from the perspective of others, so too intrinsic existence must be established from the perspective of others. Some people think that mind-only is established only from the perspective of others, but do not consider it their own system, then they cannot be established as mind-only proponents. Similarly, the consequentialism that establishes the meaning of Madhyamaka through consequential reasoning is not valid in one's own system, and establishing it only from the perspective of others means that one is neither a consequentialist nor an intrinsic existent. Therefore, it is clearly shown that we are not Madhyamikas. "For the sake of the result, I say that these exist even though they do not exist, I do this from the perspective of the world." The meaning of this statement cannot be taken as the basis for establishing all designations from the perspective of others. Because phenomena do not have self-nature established by their own entity, this is the intellectual knowledge that examines existence and non-existence in accordance with reality.

For the sake of establishing. It is because nominal consciousness is not established in the way it pleases itself. If it establishes selflessness, it would lead to the absurdity of reason becoming meaningless. Moreover, the scripture itself says, "It exists! It is done in the face of the world." Therefore, establishing forms and so on as existing is said to be established in the face of worldly people. The statement "not accepting conventional truth" means that it is not accepted as the Mind-Only school accepts other-dependence, but it does not mean that conventional truth is not accepted in one's own system, because it says, "Just as you consider other-dependence to be real." Therefore. In the connection of that scripture, it also says, "If you refute other-dependence with reason or logic, then I will also refute your conventional truth with your own logic." This is the answer to the debate. Because you consider other-dependence to be a real entity that can withstand logical scrutiny, but we do not consider conventional truths to be so, so the ability or inability to refute with logic is not the same. The statement "done in the face of the world" does not refer to others who are not of one's own system, but refers to harmless nominal consciousness, because all establishments of conventional truths must be established in its presence, and the continuum of the Middle Way school itself also has the valid cognitions that establish nominal terms. Therefore, "although non-existent" refers to non-existence by its own nature. Although non-existent by its own nature, it exists there, or saying "although non-existent, it exists" is not permissible. This is the way of establishing one's own nominal entities, because what is established by its own nature does not exist even nominally. Moreover, in the explanation of this treatise, as its proof, it is quoted as saying, "What the world considers to exist and not exist, I also consider it that way." Therefore, it cannot be non-existent. Therefore, just as it is often said, although it does not exist ultimately, it exists nominally, so saying "although non-existent, it exists" becomes different in meaning, and there is no fault whatsoever. Then, from the refutation, it is also necessary to explain what is the meaning of saying that there is no position and no commitment. If one commits to saying that a sprout does not have a self-nature established by its own entity, then, because it is dependent arising, as a reason, for example, like an image.
