So where is non-arising established? It is established in the nature that appears to be true, not in the nature of falsehood, because it has been promised that that nature is dependent arising. Thus, not preventing the arising of falsehood like illusion, but preventing the arising of truth, therefore, dependent arising and self-nature non-arising are not contradictory. As it says in the same treatise: Therefore, in this way, how can these two, arising and non-arising, contradict each other, since they are different objects? And: When we say that whatever arises from dependence is unborn by nature like an image, where is the opponent's opportunity? This is the answer to the debate that dependent arising and self-nature non-arising are contradictory. It is also said in the Introduction: Therefore, in such a sequence, things are originally, just like that unborn, the world arises knowing. This is adding the distinction of suchness to the unborn. These vases and so on are not in that suchness, just as they exist in the world as very famous. Similarly, since all things change, there will be no fault like the child of a barren woman. It is said that all internal and external things do not exist in suchness, but exist in name. Therefore, it is not that the distinction of ultimate truth is not added to the object to be refuted. In short, if you do not want to add the distinction of ultimate truth to the object to be refuted at all, then it will be impossible to make the distinction between the two truths, saying that this and this are in ultimate truth, and this and this are in conventional truth. Therefore, such a Madhyamika is not mentioned anywhere, it is just a wrong idea. In the Clear Words, it is said: The prohibition of adding the distinction of ultimate truth to the object to be refuted is for the prohibition of self-birth, not just for birth, which is very clear in that explanation. It is also said in the Commentary on the Introduction: The teacher did not make a distinction, not from myself. In this way, birth is generally prohibited. If things are not born from myself in ultimate truth, because they exist, like sentient beings. In this way, for the person who makes the distinction, it should be thought that this distinction in ultimate truth is meaningless. As it is said. Therefore, both the Svatantrika Madhyamika and the Prasangika Madhyamika add the distinction of ultimate truth to the object to be refuted.

Since there is a difference between negating and not negating self-established nature in name, even without distinguishing through applying or not applying. When negating the self-established nature of inner and outer phenomena, according to the Prasangikas, there is no need to newly add the distinction of "ultimate truth" or "reality" or "truthfulness," because if there is self-established nature, then it must be established as ultimate truth, etc. According to the Svatantrikas, if ultimate truth, etc., are not added to those, then it cannot be negated, so "ultimate truth" or "reality" or "truthfulness" must be added. However, both Madhyamikas do not accept that birth and cessation, bondage and liberation, etc., can be negated without adding any distinction of ultimate truth or self-established, etc. So, what is the meaning of not existing in ultimate truth? To that, "meaning" is what should be known. "Ultimate" means supreme, and the two are synonymous. Or, "ultimate" is non-conceptual wisdom, and since it is its meaning or object, it is ultimate truth. Or, the non-conceptual wisdom that directly realizes ultimate truth, and the wisdom that accords with it, are called ultimate truth. Here, it refers to earth, etc. "In ultimate truth, it is not composed of earth, etc." In the commentary on this, the Blaze of Reasoning says: "Regarding what is called ultimate truth, 'meaning' refers to what should be known, which is a synonym for what should be examined and understood. 'Ultimate' is the sound of the word meaning supreme. To summarize, it is both meaning and ultimate, so it is ultimate truth. Or, it is the meaning of ultimate, that is, non-conceptual wisdom is the meaning of ultimate, so it is the meaning of ultimate. Or, it is in accordance with ultimate truth, that is, the wisdom that accords with the realization of ultimate truth, because ultimate truth exists, so it is in accordance with ultimate truth." The text says that the ultimate truth that is said to "not exist in ultimate truth" or "does not exist" refers to the latter. Because it says there: "Then, what is ultimate truth, which transcends all minds, and the negation of the nature of things is the realm of letters, so wouldn't it become without negation?" There are two types of ultimate truth, one of which enters without intentionality, is beyond the world, is without outflows, and is without elaboration. The second enters with intentionality.
