So, is what is said in the commentary on the Entering the Middle Way said to be the sutra of the Svatantrika school? Similarly, it seems that there are very many instances in the sutras of definitive meaning where the distinction of ultimate meaning is added. In the Seventy Stanzas on Emptiness, it also says: "Whether abiding or arising, ceasing, existing, or not, inferior, equal, or distinguished, the Buddha speaks by the power of worldly convention, not by the power of truth." Also, in the Ratnavali, it says: "To say 'I' and 'mine' exist, this is not the ultimate truth." Also, "If its seed is false, how can its arising be true?" Also, "Likewise, in the illusory world, although arising and ceasing appear, in the ultimate sense, arising and ceasing do not exist." Like this, there are many places where ultimate truth, truth, and correctness are added to what is to be refuted to explain. Even when these are not added, the distinction of not being established by its own essence, own nature, and own characteristics is added very often. Buddhapalita also said: "The Buddhas teach the Dharma, truly relying on two truths, the worldly conventional truth, and the truth of ultimate meaning." Therefore, for the worldly conventional truth, saying that a pot exists, a sabma exists, similarly, it is also said that the pot is broken, the sabma is burned, and it is also said that these are impermanent. When one begins to think about these, if it is unreasonable for the pot and sabma to be established in dependence, then how can it be reasonable for them to be broken and burned? Furthermore, the Tathagata also says, by the power of worldly conventional truth, that the Tathagata is old, the Tathagata has passed away, and it is also said that these are impermanent. When thinking about the ultimate truth, if the Tathagata himself is unreasonable, then how can old age and passing away be reasonable? So it is said. Acharya Chandrakirti also said that what is being negated is true arising, not merely negating arising. In the Commentary on the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning, it says: "In whatever way an image arises in dependence on conditions, which is merely false, we do not say that it has not arisen. However, in whatever place it is established that it does not arise, there we say that it has not arisen. That nature
