It is established by removing it from the world itself. That is, conceptual consciousness and objects, relying on the conceptual consciousness itself, are established as two types: inverted and non-inverted. The cause of harm to the senses that exists internally is, as stated in the Commentary on the Entrance [to the Middle Way]: "Among them, blurred vision and jaundice, etc., and eating Datura flowers, etc., are the causes of harm to the senses that exist internally." As it is said. What exists externally is, in the same [commentary]: "Sesame oil, water, mirrors, and caves, etc., as well as the sounds that are spoken, etc., and the sun's rays, being close in particular times and places, etc., are the causes of harm to the senses that exist externally. When the senses are harmed internally, they become the cause of grasping images, echoes, and mirages as water, etc. Similarly, it should also be understood that mantras and medicines, etc., that are carefully prepared by magicians, etc." What harms the mind are those, as well as schools of thought that are not established truthfully, etc., and similar inferences, etc. That is to say, bad schools of thought and Arguments that appear to be valid are said to be the cause of weakening the mind's consciousness. Sleep, etc., is also a cause of weakening the mind, such as dreams, etc. Therefore, the object of ignorance's clinging, as will be explained below, does not exist even in name, but the harm obscured by ignorance is not considered a cause of harm here. If the five sense consciousnesses, without other harm that causes confusion, are not inverted in name, then the self-characteristics that appear to them must exist in name. But this is not what this teacher approves of. Therefore, it must be admitted that it is confused, and if so, it is unreasonable for these consciousnesses to be established as the measure of form, sound, etc., in name, because they are confused about form, etc., in name. It can be said that, for this, the teacher Legdenjey says that in name, form, etc., has a nature that is established by its own characteristics. When the Mind-Only school refutes that the completely imputed does not have a nature that is established by its own characteristics, and therefore is empty of nature, it examines both the designator and the designated of the completely imputed, and then the nature and

If one now asserts that the sound and wisdom that apply names do not have their own nature in name, it would become a slander of other-dependent things. Because of this prohibition, it is clear that other-dependence is considered to have a nature established by its own nature in name. As it is said in the twenty-fifth chapter of the Prajñāpradīpa: "If someone says that here, the so-called form, the nature of the completely imputed that is spoken in the mind and spoken in words, does not exist, then it is a slander of things, because it is a slander of what is spoken in the mind and spoken in words." In the commentary on this, Avalokiteśvara Rakṣita says, "This shows that the Yogācāras say that the nature of the completely imputed is non-existent by the very nature of non-self-nature. If someone says that here, the so-called form, in terms of nature and difference, the nature of the mental imputation of distinctions and the application of names spoken in words, is non-existent by the very nature of non-self-nature, then it is not permissible, because in conventional truth it is a slander of other-dependent things." Therefore, if one thinks that other-dependence, which is summarized by sound and wisdom, is self-natureless in name, it is said to be slander. Among them, the characteristic of self-naturelessness is one's own characteristic or nature. The Mind-Only school thinks that the non-existent is the completely imputed, but other-dependence has that characteristic, so it has self-nature. However, since it arises from others, it does not have the nature of arising from itself, so it is called non-self-nature. The Sutra Interpretation also explains it in the same way, and says that all dharmas are spoken with the intention of being self-natureless. On this, Kamalaśīla thinks that the sutra shows the intention of the three self-naturelessnesses, so in order to perfectly show the Middle Way that is free from the two extremes, he establishes it as the only definitive meaning to establish the doctrine. Therefore, he thinks that in ultimate truth, the imputed nature on other-dependence is the completely imputed, so it is non-existent, and in name, other-dependence has its own nature, so it eliminates slander, thereby showing the meaning of the Middle Way. This teacher also thinks that in name it has its own nature. In the Commentary on the Entrance
