In generating faith, there are eight objects of faith. The initial object is: the qualities of the Three Jewels. The object to be manifested is: the suchness of the two selflessnesses. The object of desire is: the great power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, which are the power of supernormal cognition, the power of the six perfections, and the power born together. The object of acceptance and rejection is: the causes of good and bad conduct, and their desirable and undesirable results, which can be divided into two. The object of meditation is: the meaning to be attained, enlightenment, and the method to attain it, the path of the Bodhisattva's training, all of which can also be divided into two. The object of practice following hearing and thinking is: the object of knowledge, such as impermanence, etc., according to Grolungpa. In the chapter on the types of power, it is said that the twelve divisions of scripture and other holy Dharma are said to be the eighth, so should it be done accordingly? The manner of faith is: to gain certainty about how these objects exist, to hold them without contradiction, and to think about them again and again. The two sets of eight, acceptance of suffering and firm conviction in the Dharma, are excerpts from what is said in the Bodhisattva-bhumi. In particular, firm conviction in the Dharma seems to be more extensive. How should one act when practicing these? Even when practicing any kind of patience, one should practice with the six perfections and complete the six perfections. Except for establishing patience as the giving of patience, the rest is the same as what was said before. Fifth, summarizing the meaning of these is: the basis of action, remembering and meditating on the generation of Bodhicitta, because it is the root of wanting to establish all sentient beings in the patience of the exhaustion of defilements. Therefore, one should let it grow continuously, and even practice the patience of the high ground as an object of aspiration. Also, the precepts of patience for the initial practitioner should be made a part of the goal, and one should learn it properly and truly. Even if one exceeds the limits mentioned above, one must strive to correct it. If these are neglected during practice, one will often be stained by many great faults. Moreover, it will be very difficult to practice the extraordinary conduct of the Bodhisattva in future lives, and one should regard the key points of the path as the most important.

Those things that can be done, start doing them now, and for those things that cannot be done, train your mind. As Lagsang said, with small effort and small suffering, one can perfect the perfection of patience. There are five points to learning the perfection of diligence: the nature of diligence, the method of entering into practice, the classification of diligence, how to act during practice, and the summary of these contents. The first point is: aim the goal at virtue and manifest a joyful appearance. The "Entering the Path of the Bodhisattva" says: "Diligence is the joy of virtue." The "Bodhisattva-bhumi" says: To accumulate virtue and benefit sentient beings, the mind arises with non-inverted joy, and the actions of body, speech, and mind that arise from it are called diligence. The second point is: think more about the benefits of initiating diligence and the faults of not initiating diligence. If you are accustomed to this, diligence will arise. The benefits of which are: "Encouraging the Excellent Mind" says: "It can eliminate all suffering and darkness, it is the foundation for completely abandoning the evil realms, the supreme diligence praised by all Buddhas, should be constantly relied upon. What crafts are there in this world, and what crafts are there in the world beyond, as long as diligence is initiated, it is not difficult to obtain, which wise person will be weakened by the power of diligence? Those beings who have entered the path of enlightenment of Buddhahood, because they see the faults of drowsiness and sleep, therefore constantly abide in diligent practice. I have exhorted them." In addition, the "Ornament of the Sutras" also says: "Among the collections of virtues, diligence is the most supreme, thus relying on it, one can obtain its fruit. Diligence can quickly obtain happiness, as well as worldly and transcendental achievements. Diligence can obtain dominion and desires, diligence can be endowed with purity and excellence, diligence can be liberated from the bad aggregates, diligence can attain supreme enlightenment and Buddhahood." In addition, "Those who have diligence will not be defeated by enjoyment, those who have diligence will not be defeated by afflictions, those who have diligence will not be defeated by weariness, those who have diligence will not be defeated by attainment." In addition, in the "Bodhisattva-bhumi"
