should do so. Furthermore, there are two causes for not transcending or not being superior to samsara from the beginning: attachment to enjoyment and attachment to home. The antidotes to this are generosity and ethics. Even if one transcends once, there are two causes for not reaching the end and reverting: suffering from the wrongdoings of sentient beings and being completely exhausted by engaging in virtuous deeds for a long time. The antidotes to this are patience and diligence. If you do not regard suffering and harm as anything and look at an immeasurable time as if it were a single day, and if you know how to cultivate enthusiasm from many doors, you can generate patience and diligence that can act as antidotes to the cause of reversion. This is very important. Not only for the conduct of such a great Bodhisattva, but also for virtuous deeds in the present time, due to little tolerance for short-term asceticism and little enthusiasm for the path of meditation, many enter at the beginning, but great non-reversion in the middle does not occur. It seems that this is because one has not practiced the instructions on patience and diligence. Even if you do not revert in the middle, there are two causes for wasting: the mind not remaining on the virtuous object and mental wandering, and corrupt wisdom. The antidotes to this are meditation and wisdom. It is said that even reciting mantras etc. when the mind is distracted elsewhere is meaningless. If wisdom that thoroughly distinguishes the meaning of the inner knowledge pitaka is not developed, one may be confused even in the gross places of entering and exiting and engage in wrong conduct. This is the definite number based on the power of the antidotes to abandon unfavorable sides. The definite number of the basis for accomplishing all the Buddha's teachings is as follows: the first four perfections are transformed into a collection of samadhi, so with those four, the non-wavering perfection of meditation is accomplished. And relying on that, if you cultivate vipassana, you will actually realize that very reality. The definite number based on the power of maturing and conforming to sentient beings is the same as the third one mentioned earlier. This is the view of Arya Asanga, as arranged by Acharya Simhabhadra. It seems that generating certainty in the six perfections is important. The second is to determine the order incidentally, divided into three points. The order of birth is: not looking at enjoyment, not

If one has the giving of generosity, one will take up ethics. If one possesses ethics that perfectly restrain misdeeds, one will become tolerant of harm. If one has tolerance that does not tire of hardships, one will be able to exert diligence because there are few opposing conditions. If one exerts diligence day and night, one will generate a samadhi that is workable for employing the mind on virtuous objects. If the mind is placed evenly, one will realize reality as it is. The order of inferior and superior is: the former is inferior to the former, and the latter is superior to the latter. The order of coarse and subtle is: the former are coarse because they are easier to enter into and perform than the latter, and the latter are subtle compared to their respective former ones because they are more difficult to enter into and perform than the former ones. As it says in the Ornament for the Sutras: The latter arises dependent on the former. Because of dwelling in inferior and superior, and because of coarse and subtle, these are taught in order. Thus. Third, there are two stages of learning it: the way to learn general conduct, and the way to learn the last two perfections in particular. The first has two: learning the perfections that ripen one's own Buddha-dharma, and learning the four ways of gathering that ripen the minds of others. The first has six: the way to learn generosity, ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom. The first has four: the nature of generosity, the method of engaging in generating it, the divisions of generosity, and the collection of their meanings. The first is: From the Bodhisattva Ground: What is the nature of generosity? It is the intention that arises together with the non-attachment of the Bodhisattva, which does not regard all possessions and one's own body, and the actions of body and speech that completely give away the objects to be given, which are aroused by it. As it is said, it is the virtuous mind of giving and the actions of body and speech aroused by it. The perfection of generosity is complete when it does not depend on giving the objects of giving to others to eliminate the poverty of beings. If it were not so, there would still be many poor beings, so the generosity of the Buddhas of the past would not be complete. Therefore, body and speech are not important, but mind is most important. In this way, for one's own body, possessions, and all roots of virtue,
