Something like "this" is spoken without distinguishing the object of the offense. An unpleasant sound is like saying "engaging in impure conduct," which is spoken by distinguishing the object. Non-expression is like saying "engaging in impure conduct in this way," which is spoken by distinguishing the manner, and the non-verse is combined with the previous three and explained in the commentary. This is also likely to happen to ourselves, and the fault is very great, which has been briefly stated before. Furthermore, even if one generates a mind of contempt towards a Bodhisattva, that Bodhisattva must remain in hell for that many eons. As stated in the Sutra of the Miraculous Transformation of Perfect Tranquility, no other action except slandering a Bodhisattva can cause a Bodhisattva to fall into the lower realms. And in the Compendium it is also said: "If an unprophesied Bodhisattva, becomes angry and argues with one who has received prophecy, for as many moments as there are faults of anger, for that many eons one must then put on armor." This means that for as much anger as arises, one must begin the path in that many eons, and therefore one will become very distant from enlightenment. Therefore, anger must be abandoned in all circumstances, and even if it arises, one must immediately confess and strive to keep vows. It is said in the same text: "Generating the thought that this mind is not good, separately confessing and also guarding afterwards, not rejoicing, one learns in the Buddha's Dharma." If one gives anger a chance, then the power of loving-kindness and compassion that was originally present will diminish, and even if one practices for a long time, it will be difficult to generate anew, thus destroying the root of Bodhicitta. If one prevents the adverse condition of anger, and practices as previously explained, it will increase more and more, reaching an immeasurable extent. The Commentary on Valid Cognition says: "If there is no harm from opposing factors, the mind will become that nature itself." It also says: "Why is it that, from the seeds of the same kind as before, those that are born increase, where do loving-kindness and other minds not arise if they are accustomed?" So it is said. Deceit and pretense are approaching others without the intention of benefiting them. The object is any other sentient being. What is done to them is to treat them with deceit and pretense. The intention of benefiting others is the mind of one's own nature.

This is explained in the commentaries. Deceit refers to things like cheating with weights and measures. Gyalwa Yeshe Jung said that it is like sending coarse butter, first saying it was sent to Stodlung (a place name), and then later admitting that it was coarse butter. The Compendium of Trainings says: Both arise from attachment to gain and honor, and are similar in that they belong to either desire or ignorance. The difference is that deception is pretending to have qualities when one does not, while cunning is said to conceal one's own faults. Concealing means using methods to make one's faults not apparent. In the Four White Dharmas, the object of the first white dharma is: all sentient beings. The action is: towards them, even for the sake of life or even for the sake of joking, to abandon knowingly speaking falsehoods. By doing so, one will not deceive one's own Khenpo, teacher, etc., who are special objects, with lies. The object of the second white dharma is: all sentient beings. The action is: to abide with them with a sincere mind without deceit, that is, to abide with an upright mind. This is the antidote to the fourth black dharma. The object of the third white dharma is: all Bodhisattvas. The action is: to generate the thought of being the same as the teacher, and to proclaim their true qualities in the four directions. We seem to be doing similar good deeds, but there are no signs of increase, but rather many signs of decline, which is caused by generating hatred and contempt towards Bodhisattvas and Dharma friends, and causing harm. Therefore, if one can stop causing harm to Bodhisattvas, one can avoid all the harms that depend on people mentioned in the Compendium of Trainings. Because one does not know where the Bodhisattvas are, one should generate the thought of the teacher towards all sentient beings, as requested by Od-srungs, and thus practice purification of perception. Praising qualities should also be done when the listener is appropriate, but it is not a fault if one does not proclaim them in the four directions. This is the antidote to the third black dharma. The object of the fourth white dharma is: the sentient beings that one ripens. The action towards them is: not desiring the Hinayana, but leading them to take hold of complete enlightenment. This also needs to be combined with the person to be tamed from one's own perspective. If that person to be tamed does not generate that thought, it is not a fault, because it cannot be accomplished.
