Furthermore, that wisdom accurately distinguishes how all phenomena abide, without mixing one and many, because that wisdom can simultaneously manifest all past and future moments of mind. Therefore, when the mind of the Tathagata's suchness-wisdom, which is non-conceptual, becomes the measure of reality, and in relation to that, when one is free from the appearance of all momentary phenomena, then that wisdom is said to realize selflessness. The summary of these meanings is: for whom the wisdom that has become the measure of reality realizes selflessness in relation to that, therefore, the Blessed One said that the side of selflessness is the absence of all extremes of sides. Thus, in order to diminish the clinging to sides in Vajra Yoga, the boundaries of the sides to be refuted by the extensive exposition of reasoning are defined as: what is called the side of falling into extremes when clung to, namely: true existence of substance, true non-existence of substance, true existence, true non-existence, and so on, up to true non-ignorance, etc., which are called the side of falling into extremes when clung to. That is, all those phenomena from existence and non-existence to ignorance and non-ignorance are interdependent and arise dependently. It pervades, that is, if it is established by its own nature, it must be established independently, because if it depends on others, it will become artificial. Thus, the meaning of the teachings to diminish the clinging to sides in Vajra Yoga is summarized as follows: in the face of what wisdom is free from these sides as mentioned above, that is the non-abiding Nirvana of the Buddhas, realized in a single taste with the emptiness of selflessness, that is, for whom the non-conceptual wisdom that is free from the appearance of one moment and many moments in relation to the face that has become the measure of reality, is said by the Victorious Ones to be the wisdom that sees reality. Now, the co-emergent wisdom alone, in relation to the disposition of the trainable beings, in the manner of reversal, describes the order of the transference of the sixteen grounds of joy.
