If one sees existing forms, then why not see rabbit horns? Thus it is said. Its meaning is: If a Vajra yogi sees empty forms, such as smoke, etc., and that is seeing forms that exist by their own nature, then one should see without depending on anything. For seeing without dependence, It is unreasonable to see one thing but not another, so one should see all forms, such as one's own face. If one sees forms that do not exist at all, why not see rabbit horns? One should see them. This is to say, then how is it seen? It is seeing the meaning of not being born by nature. It is said to be like a son in a dream: Seeing the unborn is, like the son of a young woman. Thus it is said. In that commentary, Naropa says: Quoting from the Samadhiraja Sutra: Just as in the dream of a young girl, she sees a boy born and then dies, she is happy when he is born and unhappy when he dies, know that all dharmas are like that. After quoting, he says: The young woman sees the unborn as born, and having this view, it is like being born, it is the cause of its arising. Thus the appearance in a dream and the appearance of empty forms, both are said to be like being born even though they do not exist by nature. If one sees existing forms, etc., this reasoning is, as it is said in the Madhyamakavatara: If one arises from another, then darkness should also arise from flames. Like this, it is the same as the reasoning. Some say: If one sees truly existing forms, why not see one's own face? If that were the case, the eye consciousness of a person who sees truly existing forms would also be impossible. If it were possible, then it must be all-pervasive in seeing the brightness of all forms. If truly existing forms are impossible, then for one's own school, one cannot even admit a little bit of existing meaning, and it would become a great nihilistic view. Briefly speaking, that's all. As mentioned above, Vajra Yoga, which is free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation and samsara and nirvana, is said to be taught in other tantras as the cause of the siddhi of Mahamudra, just like that, etc. Examining Vajra Yoga with reason, it is explained in detail that it does not abide in either existence or peace, it is Vajra.

yoga. The habit of transference is completely purified, and in an unchanging instant, one attains perfect and complete enlightenment, bestowing all the qualities of the Buddha. This is the supreme great meaning, the most unchanging co-emergent joy. This is, in its very reality, not abiding in the desire realm, not abiding in the form realm, not abiding in the formless realm, not abiding in the liberation that has abandoned the desire realm, not abiding in the liberation that is the mere exhaustion of the form realm, not abiding in the liberation that is the mere exhaustion of the formless realm, and therefore not abiding in either existence or liberation. It also does not abide in both samsara and nirvana, because the two mutually abandon and contradict each other. Therefore, existence and liberation are not the same; they are like a shadow and the sun. For example, fire, in its very reality, does not abide in the tinder, does not abide in the wood, does not abide in the labor of a person's hand, but merely nominally arises from the collection of those things. Similarly, Vajra Yoga also, in its very reality, does not abide in the external world, the internal body, or all the other paths and fruitional dharmas, but merely nominally arises from the collection of its own causes and conditions, and the yogi should understand its function. Now, from the time of perfect and complete enlightenment onwards, with the wisdom seen by the Tathagata's knowledge of suchness, relying on what becomes the object of measuring its reality, the appearance of arising and ceasing, etc., will never exist, and the way of constantly abiding in its reality will be explained. Regarding this, it should first be understood that the meaning of what is said below, that after perfect and complete enlightenment, there is no birth and death, and that after becoming a Buddha, all instants are non-existent, is that before becoming a Buddha, there are successive instants of arising and ceasing happiness, but after becoming a Buddha, it does not become the constant that does not arise and cease, because an impermanent cause produces an impermanent successive result, and the final result cannot arise permanently from the cause. Then, on the path of learning, although the appearance of arising and ceasing, etc., disappears during meditative equipoise, after rising from that
