Therefore, when indicating the place of residence, it is not only indicated by E vaṃ, but by various names. This is the so-called meaning. Then, how is the meaning symbolized by E vaṃ indicated by various names? From "The rule of mantra is" to "for the sake of making it mature", it first exemplifies that one meaning can be understood by multiple names. After that, in order, the symbolic meaning of E, that is, the names of emptiness of all forms; the symbolic meaning of the letter vaṃ, that is, the names of great bliss; and the symbolic meaning of both, that is, the names of yoga of the inseparability of skillful means and wisdom, and includes a summary of these meanings. Here, the Sanskrit of the former of the two secrets mentioned is ra ha se, and the Sanskrit of the latter is gu hya. Therefore, the former is "great secret" and the latter is "secret", which is correct. After that, sixth, it explains the definite meaning indicated by the sound of E vaṃ in other tantras, that is, in the auspicious Guhyasamāja and other tantras, in order to fully mature the disciples who are to be tamed by expounding the Dharma in the language of the gods, when indicating the place of residence, because it is indicated by E vaṃ and other Sanskrit words. Therefore, the king of the Guhyasamāja and other tantras, at the beginning of the introduction, does not want to abandon these two letters of E vaṃ, because by explaining the reason, it is also proclaimed by this sound, and the compiler also compiled it after hearing this sound. This is "these two letters" and so on. Then, how to practice these two letters of E vaṃ, and what definite meaning does it symbolize? Therefore, the method of practicing these two letters and the definite meaning should be explained. First, "first", this is a word indicating the order of writing letters. From "the letter A" to "semen", it means: first is A, then the separator, then again A, and then add the nasal sound and dot after it. Like A Aḥ. Here some say, "The letter A is the realm of space, and the secret lotus", thinking that space is outside, the lotus is inside, and the letter A is different, which is unreasonable.
