Just as visions appear simply by sitting still, without moving the eyeballs. Secondly, the other key points of the body are the same as usual. Regarding the placement of the hands, it says in the Vimalaprabha: 'Here, both hands form the vajra fists, with the fists pressing down on the thumbs, placed on the right and left thighs, abiding in the vajra posture, which becomes the vajra mudra.' Therefore, both hands should form vajra fists, either crossed or placed straight on the thighs. Thirdly, in the Later Guhyasamaja Tantra, it says: 'At the time of approach, the crown is great.' The meaning of this is explained as the posture of the crown chakra turning. The eyelids are half-closed, looking upwards with half an eye, and the eyeballs should not move. This also has the necessity of manifesting the empty form. In the Vimalaprabha, 'One with a wheel' refers to the knowledge of looking at the crown chakra, characterized by looking upwards without blinking the eyes. Therefore, it is not good to think that Ra-bro's practice is to look at the sky. Fourthly, some people think that each action is bound separately, which is not good. In Jamyang's Yoga Heart Essence Clarified, it says: 'In a non-distracting room at night, the practitioner who is extremely focused, the two bindings of the five actions, should be known from the guru's mouth.' Therefore, some people think that just by the way the eyes look, both the root and branch winds can be bound. Here, some instruction manual writers say that the tummo heat does not enter the central channel, and if it does enter the central channel, the third branch becomes meaningless. Some people think it enters the central channel, but they don't give a valid reason. Here, I will explain a little, the necessary reason for the tummo heat to enter the central channel. There are two purposes for introducing the tummo heat into the central channel, the first is, in the Root Tantra, it says: 'Smoke and so on should be contemplated, after the mind is made unwavering, after practicing the central channel, practice the supreme unchanging.' Here it says that the tummo heat is the method of practicing the central channel, and the way of practicing is, like clearing a channel when drawing water. The clearer is the wind, and if the wind does not enter the central channel, how to practice the central channel? If you clear the water from outside the channel, it becomes a joke. Therefore,

If the tummo fire cannot enter the central channel, then how should one practice the central channel? The commentary says: Here, one should first introduce the life force into the central channel. Whoever sees the signs is an Avadhūta (Tibetan: ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: अवधूत, Sanskrit Romanization: Avadhūta, Chinese literal meaning: one who has abandoned desires). Seeing signs such as smoke means that the life force has entered the central channel. If the life force does not enter the central channel during the tummo gathering, then there is no basis for first introducing the life force into the central channel. Furthermore, regarding the nature of tangible things, everyone agrees that ten signs must appear during the tummo gathering, and these also originate from the entry of air into the central channel. In the Great Commentary, it says: Here, there are two types of yoga in the Mantra Vehicle and the Paramita Vehicle, namely, practicing yoga in a place without sky or cover. If someone is accustomed to practicing yoga in the sky, then at night in a room without holes, his mind will be completely focused on the sky in the darkness, his eyes will not blink, and he will enter the Vajra Path. Here it says that because the life force completely enters the central channel, one can only see signs such as smoke from emptiness. The mind is completely focused on the sky, the eyes do not blink, and one enters the Vajra Path. From emptiness, smoke and mirages clearly appear, the stainless sky, sun, and lamplight. From the above verses, it can be seen that these can be seen through the yoga of the night. In the first chapter of the Summary, it also says: Similarly, the mind's luminosity, produced by discriminating thoughts, cannot be seen through various meditation methods. Only by combining the left and right channels into one can it be seen. In the short text of Shavari, it also says: If the ten airs enter the central channel, it is a branch of discernment. Thus it is said. Some believe that this is life exertion, which is also acceptable. Even so, the third branch will not become useless, because the actual ways of focusing are different, which will be explained below. So, by what method can one enter the central channel? The commentary says that, as stated in other tantras, one can attain realization in this way, as Rig Arali says: Without opening or closing the eyes, if the mind is held between the eyebrows, the unbearable darkness will be seen by the initial yogi. The first line speaks of the way of looking, the second line speaks of the object of focus, and the last line speaks of the signs that appear. The Vajra of the Tathagata says, tummo and mind, the two
