It is said in the Padma-can. This fire offering should be done during the preparation for the consecration. The mandala is said to be for the sake of extensive consecration. If the deity of consecration is not empowered, there is no need to build a mandala. For this, the ground ritual should be done as previously described. First, purify the statue. The term "preparation" will be explained below. For the preparation, the vase and the deity, "first" is translated as "inner." When doing the preparation at night, after the vase preparation, purification should be done, and it should be washed with water and bathwater. Then, invite the deities, make offerings, and request them to listen. Then, request the Buddhas residing in the sky to enter the statue, etc., bathe it, make offerings, etc., and after offering again, request the wisdom beings to depart, which is the deity preparation. Although empowerment is not mentioned in the Padma-can, it is necessary if a mandala is built. It is translated as "born from various Hūṃs," and its meaning is that flowers, etc., are said to be born from it. The later tantra is a summary, and the earlier tantra is a collection, which is needed for the extensive tantra. For the hearths, the top is the width and the bottom is the depth. To accomplish the remaining things, the summoning of power and the expulsion of separation, etc., are not mentioned. Oṃ Agnaya to Bhide Bhava is the mantra to request the fire god to reside in the southeast of the hearth. Sva Arthan, etc., is the mantra to request departure. Oṃ Vajra Analana to Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ Samaya Svaṃ is the mantra for invitation. Oṃ Jaḥ Hūṃ, etc., is the mantra for offering water when residing on the mandala, according to the Padma-can. Other commentaries say it is the mantra for the fire god's own offering. During the fire offering, the fire offering with inner definitive meaning is also mentioned in the Padma-can. The connection of the tenth chapter is that although many methods were previously mentioned, the Padma-can was asked for certainty. Those who desire merit and the enjoyment of power consider the mandala and consecration to be sufficient. For those who desire to be certain of Buddhahood, Kumuti said that this chapter was taught to establish the cause of its accomplishment. The phenomena of Saṃsāra, the aggregates, elements, and sources of perception, are as limitless as the sky.

Those who are immersed in it. How can sentient beings, who drift like a piece of wood falling into the ocean, attain the form of a wish-fulfilling deity? This is what was asked. Among the many deities mentioned, such as the four Herukas, the Nairatmya, and Kurukulle, through the yoga of which deity can one attain accomplishment? This is the question posed to Kumuti. Because all phenomena are limitless like the sky, with a natureless essence, a stainless essence, just as a small and uncertain piece of wood drifts when it falls into the ocean, how can sentient beings who drift uncertainly, and those with meager roots of virtue, attain accomplishment through what means? As an answer to the question, one can attain accomplishment by being in accordance with the two stages of yoga of Nairatmya, or by striving in the two stages of Heruka. Kumuti said that if one practices the yoga of wisdom, it should be done by Nairatmya, not Kurukulle; if one practices the yoga of skillful means, it should be done by the sixteen-armed Heruka. The other three Herukas cut off "glory," because there is no arising of fruit, so they are not worthy of glory, it is said. In order to fully generate the realization of the completion stage, as a means of ripening the continuum, in the generation stage, considering the need for a mandala wheel with Nairatmya and Heruka as the main deities, these two were mentioned. However, if the other three Herukas are the main deities of the mandala, that is also very good. It seems that the commentator considered the case where the sixteen-armed one is the main deity. The method of striving in those two yogas is that there are two "others," just as it is translated as "without any other thought even for a moment," it is practiced through the two, respectful yoga and constant yoga. The other meaning of "even for a moment" will be explained later. The four "first" refer to the special designation of a place where one has not yet gained stability and is newly becoming accustomed. The four "in one's own home, at night" mean that one must practice without being noticed by others. For this, the time of night is praised, so one should practice there through the yoga of meditative equipoise. The so-called "wise one" refers to someone who knows that to attain the supreme, one needs the completion stage and the generation stage as its cause, and thus practices either of them, this is a discerning mantra practitioner.
