As it is said, one can choose lotus flowers, or decorate by drawing flowers. Secondly, regarding the materials for the empowerment, Darikapa said that any of the seven materials: gold, silver, copper, iron, ragana, human bone, or wood for fire offerings, can be used to make it. The length of the handle of the empowerment ladle is twenty-four finger joints of the standard measurement, below the handle is a three-finger-length jewel, and below that is a three-finger-length vajra. With these two included, the handle is thirty fingers long, and the handle of the pouring ladle is also the same. The thickness of the empowerment ladle is such that it can be comfortably held in the hand together with the vajra. The thickness of the pouring ladle is half the thickness of the empowerment ladle. On top of the handle of the empowerment ladle is a square, four fingers wide, with a depth of two fingers in the center, adorned with a two-finger-length five-pronged vajra. Above the square is a vajra chain, half a finger wide. Above the square is a lotus petal shape, four fingers wide, with a depth of the length of a small finger, adorned with a four-finger-length vajra, with a hole for dripping nectar the size of a thumb or small finger, and above that is a four-finger-length three-pronged vajra. Alternatively, the part above the handle can be made in the shape of lotus petals, eight fingers long, according to how beautiful it is, with a square width of four fingers, a depth of two fingers in the center, adorned with a four-finger-length three-pronged or five-pronged vajra, the shape of the handle and the nectar hole being the same. On top of the handle of the pouring ladle is a lotus petal-shaped opening, two fingers wide, one finger deep, adorned with a five-pronged vajra in the center. If there is no empowerment ladle, one can use five fingers joined together to replace the empowerment, and three fingers joined together to replace the pouring of the fire offering. If there is no pouring ladle, one can also use the empowerment ladle for the fire offering. All of these are the practices of the Light Followers. In the "Black Enemy" it is also said: The handle of the empowerment ladle is one cubit and four fingers long, with a depth of two fingers in the center, and the opening of the pouring ladle is like a lotus petal, two thumb-widths wide and one thumb-width deep, which is consistent with the previous practice of the Light Followers. This mainly follows the Four Hundred Verses and its commentary, which says: At the end of four fingers is the vajra, in the middle are the lotus petals.

Having said this, Shantipa explained that "the end" refers to having a three-pointed vajra on top of everything, and "the middle" refers to having a shape similar to a lotus petal between the three-pointed vajra and the four corners. Therefore, on top of the four-finger square below, extend the length of the little finger upwards from the edge, and then make three-pointed vajras in four directions, and make the shape of lotus petals between it and the four lower inner corners. The ring vajra surrounding half a finger refers to having a hole three fingers wide and two fingers high in the center of the four fingers, extending half a finger in each direction from the upper surface. Darika Pa said that the center of the initiation, the center of peace, is a round shape like a stove, marked with its own symbols in the center, which is said to be auspicious for everyone. Buddha Guhya also said that for the three types of pacifying, increasing, and magnetizing, a wheel jewel, a wish-fulfilling jewel, and a vajra are placed in the center of the circle, square, and triangle, respectively, and these three symbols are also made in the center of the initiation. If it can be done, do it that way, but if it cannot be done, when explaining the initiation of the four actions of lotus and light, there are many places where differences are not explained, so it should also be done that way. Third, there are three: offerings, burnt offerings, and the place to purify and offer. First, for pacifying, in a conch shell or fish skin container, put milk and water of white flowers; for increasing, in a golden container, put sesame seeds, yogurt, yellow flowers, and water of yellow perfume; for magnetizing, in a copper container, put red flowers and water of red perfume. In common, these three are filled with barley, black sesame seeds, kusha grass, rice, barley, and the five elixirs. For killing, expelling, and separating, in a broken container such as a used pottery bowl, put the blood of cows and donkeys, along with black flowers with foul or odorless smells. For ignorance and rigidity, put yellow flowers with foul or odorless smells. For the fierce, use guggul incense, and for others, use sweet incense, and then after the mantra of one's own deity or the mantra of all actions, add "svāhā (藏文:སྭཱཧཱ།,梵文天城体:स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:svāhā,汉语字面意思:成就)", "oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡)", "hūṃ (藏文:ཧོཿ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)", and "phaṭ (藏文:ཕཊ།,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:啪)" in order, and recite it a hundred or seven times. For the hook of magnetizing, recite "jaḥ (藏文:ཛཿ,梵文天城体:ज,梵文罗马拟音:jaḥ,汉语字面意思:札)". In front of the three water containers, also place three containers for food on a low table, etc.
