Lying down, the eight kinds of untimely death and the connection to hell, such as swimming in a great river without a rudder, drinking poison, etc., are described. The appearances in dreams: such as being chased by enemies or having eye diseases, one's tongue being snatched away by others from the mouth, the sun and moon falling, hair falling out, being naked and sinking into a swamp, etc., thirty-two kinds are mentioned. These are the explanations from the 'Spike Commentary.' If those signs related to the lower realms do not even appear in dreams, then enter the mandala as it is, and having entered, receive empowerment and recite mantras. The meaning of the mantra is clearly visualizing oneself as the deity and meditating on suchness, needless to say, no sin will approach them, and they will not fall into the lower realms. The above is the benefit for the living, and from "male or female" onwards, it is mainly about the benefit for the dead. Giving empowerment to gods, etc., is giving empowerment to those who have attained high realization. Whether it is a dragon, a yaksha, a rakshasa, an animal, a hungry ghost, or any sentient being in hell, after death, there are no corpses in the heavens and hells, if one wonders how this is, it refers to writing the name and then giving empowerment. After that, the previous treatises mainly and explicitly show that it is for the living, and the later treatises treat the dead as secondary to the former, so it is unnecessary to say that the first two mandalas are mainly for the dead. If that body is placed in the mandala and empowered, even if sentient beings are born in hell, they will immediately be liberated and reborn in the realm of the gods. Having been born in that realm of the gods, they will also directly realize the Dharma nature of all Tathagatas. They will also make offerings to all Tathagatas, and they will also become irreversible, they will also become those of definite lineage, and they will also be born into the family of all Tathagatas, and having completely abandoned the obscurations, they will also experience happiness in the family of all Tathagatas or the family of gods or anywhere else. In short, the king of gods will experience all the benefits and happiness of the world or beyond the world. Then, Indra.

He prayed: Indra, the lord of the gods, circumambulated the Blessed One in this way, prostrated to the Blessed One, and prayed to the Blessed One in this way: Blessed One, in order to benefit and bring happiness to all those who have fallen into evil destinies, in order to make these sentient beings turn their backs on all evil destinies, and in order to easily realize the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, please explain. Please speak, introduce into the mandala, please empower, what need is there to say about the great benefits of doing recitations, etc.? After saying this, having obtained the opportunity to request, although the request for empowerment, etc., did not actually occur, please explain the mandala, etc., into which one enters. Thus he requested. Up to this point, the root tantra is completely explained as an adornment, but in reality it is not seen. Then, the Blessed One, Shakyamuni Buddha, all the Tathagatas, by entering into this and the following samadhi, showed that he transformed himself into the body of Vairochana. It is of all lineages. Its function is: to purify all evil destinies, its function is non-dual wisdom, not acting, hence the name Vajra. Having entered into the action samadhi, he spoke of this great mandala called the second name of all the Tathagatas, called the King of Glory Who Purifies All Evil Destinies. The unsurpassed bodhicitta of all Buddhas is the ultimate truth of suchness, realizing it is the wisdom of understanding, this is the heart essence of the mandala. The necessity is: for those who have attained the signless samadhi, it is in order not to depend on the outer mandala. As Kama Dhenu said, but the self-view is: this is the inner meaning mandala, which is extremely important, so it should be explained in this way. The bodhicitta of all Buddhas is the wisdom of realizing emptiness, appearing as the deity of the apprehended and the apprehender. Moreover, the unsurpassed fruit, realization, is obtained by that mind. The profound and clear non-dual wisdom repeatedly spoken by the Buddhas, the inner nature drawn by external conditions, is the heart essence of the mandala, that is, it is said that this wisdom is the most supreme.
