It is attained merely through habituation. One attains special siddhis, such as the siddhi of going into the sky and becoming one with it, transforming into many forms, and the siddhi of making things disappear. One also attains the ability to remember many births of oneself and others, and to know the minds of sentient beings dwelling in the three realms. The previously mentioned attainment of the five clairvoyances, as explained in the Sahajodbhava, refers to the five clairvoyances that rely on the senses, such as the divine eye. This is another clairvoyance that is generally known. The attainment of clairvoyance through the practice of the generation stage, and the attainment of clairvoyance during the completion stage when the bhumis have not yet been attained, is achieved through the aspect of characteristics. Through the power of habituation to the coemergent union of bliss and emptiness, the clairvoyance attained through the power of the manifestation of that very reality does not depend on characteristics. These two methods should be understood. Not only are such qualities attained on the path of learning, but also the qualities of the path of no more learning, which knows all knowable things of the past, future, and present, will be attained merely through habituation to that very coemergent state. The fourth has two parts: indicating the divisions of the text from this point onwards, and explaining the actual text. The first is: there are two different views on the divisions of the text from this point onwards. Those from the lineage of Phagmodrupa, from "the appearance of moving a torch" up to "the order of blessings," believe that the order of blessing the disciples' minds is explained first, and then the second order of self-blessing is explained again. And so on, they believe that the order of self-blessing, which is different from the previous order of blessings, is explained. Other earlier masters of other systems believe that the first division of the text also shows the actual objects of self-blessing, so they do not consider the order of self-blessing to be two separate stages. Thus, the latter view seems very correct. Then, how is it that it is said, "Again, the second order of self-blessing is explained"? There is no contradiction, because it is said, "Again, the order of self-blessing," so the previous order of blessing is explained again by the second order of blessing.
