Taking the representation of Khora Gyalchok etc. as an example, the doubts that were resolved regarding the practice of the generation stage by arranging letters etc. at that time, were based on the arrangement of the seed syllables etc. of the deities of the generation stage in the previous texts. However, this is also related to the statement that meditating on the letters arranged in the center of the lotus in the heart at the beginning of this practice represents the wrathful deity itself. The main point of doubt resolution lies in the latter. When practicing the completion stage, the practice of arranging letters and bindus etc. in the vital points of the body comes from many traditions such as the two-fold practice of the Compendium, the three practices of Lo Nak Dril, etc. Since the arising of co-emergent wisdom by gathering the life force into the Avadhuti in this way is not fully understood, there is no explanation in the Tibetan commentaries that value these practices that explains them as they are. Some people consider meditating in this way to be meditating on Suchness itself, and thus promote the prohibition of nakedness etc., which seems to be abandoning the Dharma, so those with discernment should investigate this thoroughly. Regarding the method of using Vajra recitation to control the breath, the commentary on the Praise of Hevajra states: "Then, what is called life exertion is the blocking of the paths of the left Lalana and the right Rasana, so that the life breath always enters the path of the central Avadhuti, filling the Avadhuti, and with the actions of Kumbhaka and exhalation, shaking with the syllable Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), blocking with the syllable Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and exhaling and reciting with the syllable Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), the yogi performs with the nature of Rahu and the sun, which is a limb of life exertion." So it is said. In the translation of Jokro Tingnge Dzin Zangpo, it is explained as "with the actions of shaking, abiding, and exhaling," so filling is shaking inward, and Kumbhaka refers to abiding within. It is necessary to meditate that all three, inhalation, entering, and abiding, in which the three syllables are combined, take place from the Avadhuti. Although there are some differences in the way the three breaths and three syllables are combined in the various tantras, it is not necessary to cling to one of them, and any of those methods will accomplish the goal. There are many explanations of life exertion Kumbhaka in the Kalachakra tradition, but it is not limited to that, as stated in the commentary on the Praise, Vajra recitation is also the life exertion because it reverses the flow of breath in the left and right channels and enters the Avadhuti, so it is necessary to understand that Vajra recitation is life exertion.

To consider it merely as a preliminary and obstacle remover for life force exertion is to not fully understand the meaning of the tantras. It is also said in Vimalaprabha: "Here, the definitive meaning is that because it is relied upon at all times and transformed into the state of vase breath, the yogi should contemplate the life force in the central channel by entering and arising at all times. Then, the yogi will attain the five kinds of wish-fulfilling wisdom, which come from the recitation of the life force." This is the definitive understanding of the Bhagavan. Therefore, one should praise and recite with unwavering faith and a mind endowed with life force. This is the vajra one-liner from all the tantras, which has been said before." Thus, it is said that at all times when doing vajra recitation, the yogi must contemplate the arising and entering of wind from the central channel. This method is also said to be authoritative for all the tantras that speak of doing wind vajra recitation. The phrase "the duration of transformation into the state of vase breath" means that like vase breath, without exhaling or inhaling the wind, but allowing the wind to remain stable inside until it becomes stable, that is the meaning of vajra recitation. The function of vajra recitation is to make the life force enter and stabilize in the dhūti. It is also said in the Vajra Heart Commentary: "Entering the realm of the impotent, the mantra limbs are recited equally, entering the realm of the central channel at the crown, the stream of breath is recited continuously." Therefore, it is said in the sutra that vajra recitation should be done when entering the realm of the central channel. However, in Vimalaprabha it says: "The order of vajra recitation in which the life force correctly moves through the left, right, and central channels, and the order of recitation of the impotent." If someone thinks, "How can it be understood that the meaning of the sutra saying that the life force moves from the left and right channels is vajra recitation?" There is no fault of contradiction with that. Its meaning is to perform vajra recitation on the wind that moves the life force from the three channels. Even when doing vajra recitation when the wind moves in the left and right channels, although the breath actually moves in the left and right channels, it does not directly prevent it, but rather tends to arise and enter from the central channel, so there is no contradiction in doing so. Therefore, some say that when doing vajra recitation, they are doing vajra recitation in the right ro and left rkyang ma channels, and tend to arise and enter breath from these two channels. This way of doing vajra recitation is very common, and this is again
