One should visualize the ornaments generated from the earth mantras as being worn on the body. The Khaṭvāṅga below, from "..." to "abiding nowhere," the three commentaries say that it should be added after "adorning the head with skulls," so it is adopted here. The Khaṭvāṅga held by oneself should be visualized as the deity, the body of Heruka, or as the joints of one's own bones, the nature of the Khaṭvāṅga. The sound of the Ḍāmaru should be understood as wisdom, emptiness like thunder. The hero Bhagavan is the aspect of skillful means and appearance, so it is called day because it is an object of focus. The yogini Bhagavati is the aspect of emptiness that gathers appearances, so it is called night because it is not an object of focus. The meaning of the four terms "transcending sorrow," etc., will be explained in the context of the completion stage. At this time, one should visualize the hero Bhagavan as the body of union, and the sow (Vārāhī) should be visualized as the essence of emptiness and luminosity. The meaning of the four letters has already been explained somewhat, and what needs to be explained from the perspective of the completion stage will be explained. Some lamas have transmitted it from sleep. This pure mindfulness is practiced by lamas such as Phamtīngpa after meditative equipoise. The Indian Dārikapa, a disciple of Nāropa, considers mindfulness itself to be meditative equipoise. Mal gyos, when practicing, in order to prevent forgetting, after the generation stage of meditative equipoise, cultivates pure mindfulness, and then performs offerings, etc. The custom of Marpa and the commentaries is to follow the second method. The commentaries say that when combined with the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, it is omniscience; when combined with the pure abodes of the ten grounds, it is the knowledge of the path; and from armor to purity, it is the knowledge of all aspects. This is to show that in this sādhana, the paths of the three wisdoms of the pāramitās are included. That is, the thirty-seven dharmas comprehended by the wisdom of great bliss, the suchness of all the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, the nature of the thirty-seven deities of the outer and inner mandala, is the summary of the basis wisdom. Considering the realization of coemergent bliss and emptiness as the path wisdom, the ten grounds, one should visualize the places of the body and nearby places, etc.

After doing that, meditating on the body mandala gathers the wisdom of the path, and the yogi himself, based on the basis and the basis of the difference of the path, knows the forms of the distinguishing dharmas, such as armor and bondage, and thus gathers the path of omniscience. Fourth, in the scripture, it says, "Visualize Ali Kali in front." Until "From this, one will obtain the dharani." All four commentaries say that this is explaining the completion stage, and the lineages from Phadampa also think so. In other scriptures, it appears after explaining the actions of offering, torma, pure mindfulness, and standing together, so it seems to be done after completing the generation stage meditation. Also, all three commentaries say that after doing a retraction stage other than the retraction stage taught by Ali and others, the mandala transforms into a wheel and is recited, and the torma is made. Those commentaries do not explain a retraction stage other than the retraction stage taught by Ali and others. In the Ornament of the Crown, the retraction stage from the mandala to the retraction of Nada at the end of the recitation is included in the category of the generation stage, and is combined with the meditation of the completion stage of Ali and others, so there are two retraction stages. Mardo also does two retraction stages in the same way, and when the generation stage is clear and one can concentrate for a long time, one meditates on the retraction stage of the completion stage. After briefly meditating on the generation stage and doing a little recitation, one mainly meditates on it, and when one rises from it, one enters the yoga of conduct. The lineages from Mel do not do two retraction stages, but alternately meditate on the generation stage, and at the end of the torma, they meditate on the retraction stage of the completion stage, and after reciting, they enter the subsequent practice. Although there are many kinds, doing the retraction stage before the recitation is because one wants to interrupt the meditation on the generation stage, so retracting the mandala does not belong to the completion stage, and it is also mainly done between the generation stage being clear and not being able to concentrate for a long time. The generation stage, and incidentally the retraction stage of the completion stage, is done in the gaps of the generation stage, and here it is done at this time, the generation stage is slightly...
