The generation stage is to visualize that from A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) or Kam (Tibetan: ཀཾ, Devanagari: कं, Romanized Sanskrit: kaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Kam), the vessel is a skull cup, and the objects arise from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), their nature being emptiness, appearing as the forms of individual offering substances, as objects for the six senses, generating the extraordinary bliss free from outflows. As stated in the "Two Examinations Tantra": "All kinds of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) are complete, Offer flowers and so on." The commentary by the Lotus One also says: "Arising from all kinds of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ)." This means that individual flowers and so on arise from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ). The method of blessing is for each to be done through mantra and mudra, as the lamas believe. Then, the recitation of the Hundred Syllable Mantra is often said to be done at the end of the session, but the lamas do not find it contradictory to do it at this time. As the "Ornament of the Essence" says: "The sole body of all Buddhas, Abides in the center of a white lotus moon, Adorned with vajra and bell, Vajrasattva well visualized, The Hundred Syllable Mantra as in the ritual, Twenty-one recitations each, Sins and so on are blessed, It will not increase, thus it is said, Accomplished holy ones all declare, To be practiced in the session interval, If recited a hundred thousand times, One will become the nature of complete purity." Therefore, during the session interval, meditate on Vajrasattva and recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra twenty-one times without interruption, so that downfalls will not increase, and if recited one hundred thousand times, faults will be purified, as said by those who have attained supreme accomplishment, so it should be done. As it is said, for these two necessities, the visualization and recitation of Vajrasattva should be practiced. Although it is permissible to visualize oneself as Vajrasattva and practice, the tradition of the lamas is to visualize it on the crown of the head and practice. Secondly, from blessing the aggregates and so on until meditating on emptiness at the end of the field of merit, and from which tantra is this order spoken? To this, it is not clearly stated in the few root tantras. But in the explanatory tantra "Manifestation of Expression," it says: "First, invite the field of merit, Accumulate merit, Then visualize the seventeen deities from the seventeen seed syllables, Then, after visualizing the extensive protection wheel, it explains meditating on the meaning of the mantras of the three liberations." The "Compendium of Origins" says: "First, meditate on the two-armed Heruka, Then, the pride of the aggregates and so on,

Then there is the protection wheel, and then inviting the field of merit. At the end of accumulating merit, it is said to meditate on emptiness. The order that appears from the Sadhana of Lui-pa should be understood as the custom of that tantra. Blessing the aggregates etc. is recorded in this text, although it is like the Kunjyod Tantra, it is not clear in the tantra itself that those are done here. The great accomplished one said to do them here, so the intention of that tantra is also like that. The third has four: meditating on the immeasurable after purifying the three doors, blessing the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, meditating on the protection wheel that prevents obstacles, and accumulating merit by relying on favorable conditions. The first is: "One should meditate" is stated as the basis for explanation. From the time of "time", it is the beginning of meditating on the immeasurable etc. What is meditated on, and by whom is it meditated on? It shows that the lord of yoga, who possesses the yoga of purifying the three doors, meditates. First, having meditated on the three yogas, then the rest are meditated on slowly, and it should be taken as the meaning of showing the order. In that way, one must first meditate on the three yogas. The way to purify the mind is to manifest the meaning of the four letters "Shri Heruka". That is also as it is said in the Kunjyod: "Shri is non-dual wisdom, He is the emptiness of causes etc., Ru is without arrangement, Ka does not abide anywhere." One should contemplate it in that way. Like that, Although there are many ways to explain the meaning of what is said, it is good to contemplate the meaning of the four letters at the beginning of the Sadhana, as it is said in the Ocean of Dakinis. There, "E-vam" etc. are non-dual, and are expressed by the letter called "Shri". The letter He goes from the heart to everywhere, Heruka etc. go with their retinue. From the source of all meditations, grasping etc. arise and change in various ways. That is the nature of the emptiness of causes, and one does not discriminate it as the nature of causes. The selflessness of nature and phenomena, that is the place of the yoga of emptiness. The selflessness of arrangement and person, is the great net of discrimination. The letter Ru is the nature of conditions, that is the absence of my arrangement. Again, Ka is all-encompassing, with the knowledge that there is no duality to be made by me, therefore it does not abide in anything.
