The Free Tenma, the female messengers of death, the female with fangs of death, the female destroyers of death, and others laugh. The number of faces and hands, and the implements, etc., should be done like the four Dakinis, but they should be distinguished and differentiated from them by the distinction of the four different faces such as the crow face. The crow face and others are not the whole head, but only a part of the face is their face. If it is not so, earrings and other things cannot be worn, so say the Tibetan scholars. The four crow-faced mothers and others are said to be of black, green, red, and yellow colors, and to show the four different directions. The crow-faced mothers and others are different from the Dakinis and others in terms of their faces. Similarly, the four goddesses who dwell in the directions of fire and others are as attractive as beautiful women. The color of their bodies is two in the form of half-bodies. The right half is the color of the right door, and the left half is the color of the left door. All eight dwell on the seat of corpses in the charnel ground. The great wrathful mother is diligent in accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings, and because she dwells in the cemetery, she has a seat of corpses. All the heroes and yoginis hold a vajra garland on their foreheads. These are the four Kinnara women and the four flesh-eating mothers who, in ancient times, occupied and subdued the twenty-four places of cutting and near cutting, and the edges of villages and near the edges of villages. The eight fathers and mothers, such as the wrathful Three-Worlds-Victorious and the goddess Gauri, were hidden by the four gatekeepers in the form of face masks. The four corner mothers hid the fathers in the form of half-bodies and manifested as the bodies of mothers, thus subduing the eight mentioned earlier. And the worldly evil gods who dwell in the twenty-four lands of Jambudvipa worship Ishvara. The fierce form of Ishvara is the terrifying black one, and his wife, Time Consort, etc. When the time came to subdue the one who dwells in Magadha (摩揭陀), the center of Jambudvipa, Vajradhara manifested as the four-faced, twelve-armed Chakrasamvara in Jambudvipa, subdued the terrifying one and his consort, and pressed them under his feet.

The four wrathful consorts, transforming into the four heart essence yoginis such as Māmaki, thereby subdued. Tibetan Buddhist lamas say this. In the commentary on nomenclature, there also appear corresponding statements as appropriate. Third, regarding the practice of purification in accordance with the direction and the maṇḍala of the body, there are three parts: combining the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment with the deity, explaining the maṇḍala of the body, and summarizing and presenting the previously stated meaning. The first part has two points: the general meaning and the meaning of the branches. The first point is: regarding the occasion for practicing purification in accordance with the direction, it is said in the nomenclature: when not tired, one should practice the deity and recite mantras; when tired, one should practice this purification. Lūipa said that one should practice at this time, and Drilbupa also said that one should practice immediately after completing the practice of the deity of the body maṇḍala. Krishnacharya said that one should practice the deity to completion, and Yeshepa said that one should practice at the end of introducing (wisdom) and after empowerment and offering. Therefore, it is not certain in only one case, and one should do as it appears in the respective treatises. The necessity of practicing this is that, in the three commentaries, it is said that one should practice in order to abandon attachment to the form of the deity and in order to attain omniscience. The first point is: at the time of the result, the wisdom of non-dual great bliss itself appears as the deity, and this is to be in accordance with this, to transform the result into the path. It is not to show the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, which are common with other Mahayana, as the deity, nor is it to visualize the deity's body as a physical entity such as flesh and bones, but only to visualize it like a rainbow. The second point is: in order to generate in the continuum the realization that knows that all the bases of aggregates, elements, and sources are without inherent existence. In the commentary of the Great Lord, four necessities are explained. First, showing the assembly of Heruka deities as the nature of the Dharmakaya, because the wisdom Dharmakaya is the very non-dual wisdom previously mentioned, so it is like that. Reversing attachment to the deity is to reverse attachment to the mere image of the deity that has not appeared as its nature by meditating on the previous nature. Third, symbolizing illusion and emptiness as non-dual is to know that the mind of bliss and emptiness and the illusory deity image are inseparable in nature. Fourth, simultaneously transforming the path into the path is the distinction of the vehicle, that is, the deity image of the mantra vehicle and the realization of emptiness of the Prajnaparamita vehicle simultaneously.
