Although some methods of pressing were mentioned, they were not written down. Some Tibetans have summarized the Yoga Tantra, and in the Vajraśekhara Tantra, it is said that one should press the left ear of Īśvara with the left foot and the space between the breasts of Umā with the right foot, in that order. However, Jowo Chempö (Atiśa) considered Īśvara not to be dead, while the Śekhara Tantra says he is dead, so it is not good to object. Because the upper and lower tantras are different, in the Yoga and Anuttarayoga Tantras, the pressers are different, such as Vajrapāṇi and Hevajra. If it is said that the method of pressing the pressed objects, such as Īśvara and Umā, must be the same, then in one tantra of Hevajra, the presser is the same, Hevajra, and the pressed objects are the same, Bhairava and Kālasamketā, so the method of pressing these two should be very similar. However, the Abhisamayālaṃkāra, in just one tantra, speaks of many differences. Moreover, in the thirty-third chapter of that tantra, it does not mention more than two feet for pressing. Sitting in the half-lotus position, with Kālasamketā face down, pressing both Bhairava and Kālasamketā. In the Sādhanaratnamālā, it says that in the half-lotus position, both are stacked and pressed. Or one foot presses both, or one presses one, or the right leg is stretched out, or both legs are stretched out to press, and so on, many methods are mentioned. Also, in the fifty-fourth chapter, it says: "Bhairava and Kālasamketā, fainting and extremely intoxicated, with the feet on their heads, naked and crying out." Therefore, according to the Hevajra Tantra, it is believed that Bhairava is alive, while the Yoga Tantra says that Īśvara is dead, so it cannot be objected. The Abhisamayālaṃkāra says that pressing Bhairava and Kālasamketā is to suppress desire and hatred, as well as the conceptualizations of permanence and annihilation. The first point is easy to understand. The second point, the extreme of permanence is the existence of saṃsāra, which is the side where the stream of habitual tendencies of saṃsāra continues uninterrupted; the extreme of annihilation is the non-existence of nirvāṇa, which is the side of peace where only karma and afflictions are cut off. The object is emptiness, and the subject is compassion, the taste of both is the same, therefore, Vajravārāhī, the first two hands embrace, and the right hand of the embracing hands has the nature of the same taste of the five wisdoms, it is the five-pronged vajra, and the left hand has the nature of the Prajñāpāramitā.

Holding a bell. In the ninth chapter of the "Lexicon," although it is said that the sole hero holds a nine-pointed vajra, here it is made five-pointed. Because it destroys the ignorance of beings, it is different from the previous one, that is, the two hands below, wearing the white elephant skin with blood as clothing on its back. The elephant symbolizes ignorance, and peeling off its skin symbolizes breaking through ignorance. That is, the right hand holds the left hand, and the left hand holds the skin of the left foot, stretching out and grasping with a hand gesture including the threatening mudra, the two fingertips of the threatening mudra are level with the eyebrows, as Vajrapani said in the commentary of the root tantra. Because it is the skin where the form of the Lord of Hosts, the elephant-headed deity, resides, in the "Lexicon," it is also said to be the skin of the Lord of Hosts. The third hand of the right hand holds the damaru that produces the sound of supreme joy, urging all Buddhas. The fourth hand holds the axe that cuts off the faults of the three doors. The fifth hand holds the curved knife that cuts off the conceptual thoughts that cling to the extremes of existence and non-existence. The sixth hand raises the trident that pierces the afflictions that have ripened in the three realms. The third hand of the left hand holds the white khatvanga marked with a vajra, which is the essence of the mind of enlightenment. In the ninth chapter of the "Lexicon," it is said: The khatvanga is a khatvanga related to the vajra held for offering, above it is a five-pointed vajra, extremely terrifying, the vajra bell is swaying, various banners are hanging, the middle is marked with various vajras, and below it is a single-pointed vajra. In the practice of the Sow-faced Mother, the Light of Wisdom, it is said: The shaft of the khatvanga is white, the top is single-pointed, the top is black and five-pointed, connected to the dry skull, and there are old and new skulls, various vajras, and a bell attached to the base of a golden vase that makes a sound, decorated with various beautiful banners. The shaft mentioned is the wooden staff, the top is single-pointed, it is the top of the butter lamp, and a yellow vase should be made below the various vajras. Regarding the colors of the three skulls, in the "Special Illumination," it is said: Because body, speech, and mind are completely pure, it is a khatvanga with three skulls of white, red, and black. Therefore, arrange them in order from top to bottom.
