Thus, immediately after rising from emptiness, placing Nada etc. in the sky is extremely excellent. Secondly, there are two: generating the sequential stacking of elements and Mount Meru, and generating various lotuses and various vajras. The first is: After that, contemplate the sequential stacking of elements and Mount Meru. From the 'Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, Sadhana of the Five Deities of the Bell School': 'The place where the cow dwells and floating upwards, the remaining dry matter, from its root, make the nature of a great conch shell, or the nature of a turtle. From Yam (Tibetan, Devanagari, yam, wind), Ram (Tibetan, Devanagari, ram, fire), Vam (Tibetan, Devanagari, vam, water), Lam (Tibetan, Devanagari, lam, earth), Sum (Tibetan, Devanagari, sum, uncertain), wind, fire, water, earth, Mount Meru, four squares, four layers, eight peaks, contemplate all blazing with light.' Thus, this is arranged at the time of contemplating the sequential stacking of elements, etc. It comes from the Root Tantra, and this is how it is spoken of in the Root Tantra. Among them, the place where the cow dwells is: From the 'Extremely Subtle Liberation': 'Speech, direction, earth, and light, livestock, name, and vajra, high place, water, and nine meanings, the wise should definitely grasp the sound of Go (Tibetan, Devanagari, go, cow).' As it is said, livestock, that is, the sound of Go (Tibetan, Devanagari, go, cow), which also includes cows, also includes earth, so here it refers to earth. Where flowers etc. are placed, what floats upwards is water. What dries up the remaining matter is fire. What flows from within the root is wind. The practitioner says: 'The indivisible one and the turtle.' Thus, one recites 'again' without the word 'or'. In one of the two commentaries on the Root Tantra, it says: 'Heavy ashes, reality, etc., likewise, the remaining head is dry.' And in another, it says: 'Remaining head, dry weapon.' Thus, heavy is earth, ashes are water, likewise is wind, dry head is fire, and it is made from a great conch shell. For 'it is made from a great conch shell,' it is also recited as 'it is made from a great mountain.' Therefore, the former refers to Mount Meru, and the word 'or' refers to explaining the sequence of egg-born beings other than the sequence of divine womb-born beings. In another commentary, it says: 'Weapon is explained as wind, the rest is the same.' Kongkana, Kalandrakirti, Langka, and Viravajra do not combine the sequential stacking of elements and the generation of Mount Meru. The first one takes a dry piece of a human head and says to make a great conch shell. The second one takes the bones of cows and buffaloes etc. and says to make rosaries for each activity. The third one takes an unbroken dry head and says to make a great conch shell, or a turtle.
