When the twelve yogis went to the charnel ground to make offerings, the master also followed them. After the others had finished, the heroes and yoginis of the twenty-four lands, disguised as ordinary people, gathered together, and in the middle of them was a corpse of seven generations, lying there in a seductive and playful manner. When the master made prostrations and offerings to them, they were pleased and said from their mouths, "Cut off the substances of the samaya and offer them to us," and then they enjoyed them. Because it was a faultless food unmixed with afflictions, they said, "You should also take a bite," and the master ate it without hesitation. They were all pleased, and after they disappeared, the mandala of the glorious Wheel-of-Great-Bliss appeared in the sky. The master was initiated into it, and the complete empowerment was bestowed. In the experience of self-blessing, the exemplary wisdom that is the symbol of bliss arose in his mind. In order to stabilize and increase it, he was given instructions, and words of encouragement to quickly attain supreme accomplishment in this very life: "Abandon stretching out your legs, give up the commands of samsara, the great king Vajrasattva, be encouraged again and again." Having said this, they disappeared. Thinking about that, he saw that he had to strive single-mindedly in practice. Thinking about what to rely on for sustenance in order to practice, he realized that begging for alms and the like would give rise to attachment and aversion, that fruits and the like were scarce in winter, and that staffs and the like would become obstacles to practice. Thinking in this way, he gradually traveled to various places and solitary places. Finally, he arrived in Bengal in eastern India. Near there, on the banks of the Ganges River, many fishermen were killing fish and piling up huge heaps of fish meat, which birds and dogs were eating. He saw that there was no owner and that the labor was small. So he stayed on one side of it and made his living by fishing, practicing, and thereby attained the supreme accomplishment of Mahamudra. Because he ate fish, he was named Luipa. Dorje Denpa also said: "From the scribe caste, fortunate to have, eating fish and attaining accomplishment, the one called Luipa, to that lama I prostrate." Such a great accomplished one had as his disciples King Darika and the minister.

In order to fulfill the request of two individuals named Gipa (gi pa) to explain how to meditate on realization, this realization of glorious Chakrasamvara was composed. This realization does not appear in other translations. In the translations of Gö ('gos) and Zangkar (zangs dkar), there are many names such as the eight great charnel grounds and the eight trees. Some Tibetans in the past said that these were not in the Sanskrit original of Luipa (lU i pa), but were translated from a Kashmiri manuscript. Some also say that some of these were added by Naropa (nA ro pa), while others say that they were added by the Kashmiri Bodhibhadra (byang chub bzang po). Thus, the former is not true, and it is evident that the latter added them. In the translation of the great translator, Gö ('gos) made revisions to the translation. Although Mardo (mar dos) made revisions that were the same as before, they did not appear when translated by comparing them with the Central Tibetan (yul dbus) manuscript. It is said that this teacher also composed a small sadhana of Chakrasamvara, the solitary hero, so there are two aspects of Chakrasamvara. For the previous treatise, there is an excellent commentary composed by Lawapa (lwa ba). After that, Prajñārakṣita composed a difficult commentary on the sadhana of Luipa (lU i pa). This was translated by the great translator Ngok (rngog lo tsA ba), which says: "Composed by the great teacher Prajñārakṣita, following the great accomplished one Lawapa (lwa ba)." From this, it is evident that he based it on Lawapa's (lwa ba) commentary. Therefore, that teacher also considered it to be Lawapa's (lwa ba) commentary. The many small treatises on outer offerings and hand offerings, etc., composed by Prajñārakṣita and Taga Dorje (rtag pa'i rdo rje), also seem to be copied from Lawapa's (lwa ba) commentary. This teacher stayed in the presence of Naropa (nA ro pa) for two years, only receiving group teachings, and not receiving individual instructions. Some followers of Melgyo (mal gyo) say this, which is very unreasonable, because all those who claim to have a lineage of individual instructions have them, and he does not have any special teachings that are not there. Moreover, his commentary also seems to be in accordance with Lawapa's (lwa ba) view. The wise Mardo (mar do), a disciple of Sumatikirti, also seems to rely mostly on that teacher's system, so it is not that he did not receive the individual instructions of that system. Tathāgata Vajra (de bzhin gshegs pa'i rdo rje) composed a commentary on the sadhana of Luipa (lU i pa) called "Compilation of Arising," which is written in verse.
