Having ascertained the meaning of emptiness appearing, if one cultivates well, contemplating parents and gurus as the dual parents, contemplating yidams as the dual yidams, etc., it seems that there will be some remaining in the former, so one should do it that way. Also, like the practice of "one should choose a place of birth," cultivate the desire to be born in a pure realm, and if one obtains the instructions on the bardo from other Marpa Kagyu instructions, then establish the desire to be born in a higher place with it, and one should also do as it is said, "one should perform the instructions on transference." Second, the way to meditate on clear light is twofold: the way to meditate on clear light during waking hours and the way to meditate on clear light during sleep. First, in general, there are two kinds of clear light, of which the common clear light is: the nature of the ground, free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, is the object clear light; realizing that meaning as it is, is the subject clear light. This is common to both the Great and Small Vehicles, both mantra and pāramitā, the three lower tantra classes, and both Anuttara, and is also called the clear light of common meaning. The uncommon aspect is that although the object clear light itself has no difference, the subject realizing it with the great bliss of coemergence is a special characteristic of Anuttara Yoga itself, so it is called uncommon. The most important thing here is that one needs the bliss of the coemergent completion stage that arises from the three stages of wind entering the central channel, abiding, and dissolving. Therefore, if it does not arise from the melting of the bodhicitta of the element, merely cultivating the nonconceptual mind that is free from sinking and excitement of the mind of awareness is not the bliss called bliss-clarity-nonconceptuality that arises from the wind becoming slightly workable, and even if it is melting bliss, it is not the melting bliss that arises from the life force entering the central channel, etc., during the generation stage, etc., so one must carefully distinguish the differences of bliss. That is to say, as explained earlier in the context of tummo, the coemergent great bliss of the completion stage, combined with the view that has well established that very nature, the clear light of the path, which establishes the wisdom of indivisible bliss and emptiness as clear light, must arise before the completion stage of the illusory body, and based on repeatedly familiarizing oneself with it, one must accomplish the illusory body, therefore, here the clear light.

One should practice something that is more excellent than the previous one. That is, entering the clear light by relying on an actual illusory body or a similar support. The order of absorption for entering the clear light is: Although this instruction is mostly unclear, it appears very excellent in some instructions. The order is to visualize oneself as the union of the deity father and mother, and in the center of the Dharma wheel in the heart, on a sun cushion, visualize a blue Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ). From that, light radiates, purifying all outer vessels, dissolving into clear light, and absorbing the essence of the outer vessels into sentient beings. Then, after slightly dissolving, the mother is absorbed into the deity that appears as oneself. Dissolve upwards from the crown of one's head and downwards from the soles of one's feet. The sun cushion is absorbed into the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) in the heart. Then, the hook of the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) is absorbed into the U (ཨུ), and the U is absorbed into the Ha (ཧ). The Ha (ཧ) is absorbed into one's own head. That is absorbed into the half-moon. That is absorbed into the bindu. That is absorbed into the upward-curving nāda. Also, contemplate that it is absorbed into the wisdom channel in the heart. By focusing firmly on that place, the solitary wind of ro enters the central channel of the heart, and by doing the three stages of entering, abiding, and dissolving, the extraordinary clear light of the path arises through the stages of the four emptinesses. When that arises, one should hold the mind of great bliss without wavering on the view. As previously stated, both the illusory body and the clear light seem to conform to the instructions of the noble ones. The way to enter the clear light just mentioned seems to be a special contemplation of the subsequent dissolution of the five stages of Guhyasamāja. Therefore, it is explained with a slight embellishment of the Guhyasamāja instructions. If, during the previous practice of tummo, one is able to generate the co-emergent of wind entering the central channel, then at this time, through the previously mentioned absorption sequence, one can easily generate the co-emergent clear light of life entering the wisdom channel. Even if it is not like that, by becoming accustomed to this absorption sequence, one can generate it in that way. It has already been extensively explained elsewhere. Second, the way to meditate on the clear light during sleep is: If the clear light of sleep is seized by the power of wind, then as previously stated, one must grasp this before entering dream yoga, and that itself becomes a supreme method for grasping dreams. Likewise
