It is said to be very consistent with the statement that there are bindus that generate the fourth state in the genitals, throat, and secret place in the dream state, in the heart and jewel in the deep sleep state, and at the top of the navel and secret place. When falling asleep, a large amount of air gathers in the heart and jewel, and during that dense period, dreamless sleep occurs. Then, when the air becomes slightly thinner from those two places and reaches the throat and secret place, dreams appear, and dreams occur during that gathering. Then, the air separates from those two places and goes to the forehead and navel, and one awakens. When bodhicitta descends from the crown and reaches the top of the navel and jewel, each greater bliss arises from the transformation of one's upper places, which is the fourth state. Similarly, if it is brought into the path by the power of the air, the coemergent bliss of the ascent begins from the navel, and its characteristics are perfected when it reaches the top of the jewel. Therefore, it is very important to cultivate the yoga of sleep and dreams in the four places, but it is not meaningless to hold the mind when awake in those places. Among all the chakras, the first place to focus on in this system is the emanation chakra. By focusing on each chakra and cultivating them, one must also understand how the unique results of each practice arise. Second, the stages of traversing the path are twofold: first, meditating on the illusory wheel and the void, and then meditating on the actual stages of the path. The first is: In the teachings of other Marpa lineages, relying on the three stages of the rising, entering, and abiding of the air, protecting with Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), protecting with the wrathful one, and accumulating merit through guru yoga, although there is no practice of the illusory wheel and the void, in the lineage from Jetsun Milarepa to Gampopa, just as the former is absent and the latter is present, there are two aspects to what is taught here, the first being the illusory wheel: taking refuge, generating bodhicitta, and supplicating after visualizing the guru on the crown of the head, which is inevitably integrated with the lineage, and then visualizing oneself as the union of the father and mother deities. This is done in advance at the beginning of each session.

Although there appear to be many different kinds of illusory wheels, both in quantity and in practice, here, according to the supplement to the "Compendium of Gradual Paths of Means" by Pal Phagmo Drupa, the physical exercises are: Fill like a vase, rotate like a wheel, bend like a hook. Throw the vajra knot mudra into the sky and cast it down. Straighten like an arrow in the manner of a dog vomiting. In order to keep the channels and blood in the body, shake the head and body without a head and body, and extend the joints. There are six like that. Because it is known as the Six Dharmas of Naropa, do it like that. Filling like a vase is: On a comfortable cushion, sit in whatever comfortable lotus position, straighten the legs, place the hands on the knees, inhale through the right nostril and look to the left. From the nostril on that side, exhale slowly and for a long time without any residue. Again, inhale from the left and look to the right. From the nostril on that side, exhale as before. Then from the center, inhale from both nostrils, and exhale directly once as before. In this way, do two sets of three again, that is, exhale the stale air in nine repetitions. Moreover, whether exhaling outwards or inhaling inwards, do not let it go in and out from the mouth. Then straighten the body upright, Bend the thumbs of both hands inwards. From the front, inhale the air very slowly and for a long time, swallow the saliva silently just below the navel and press down firmly. After that, draw in a not-too-strong lower air from below the navel, and close the mouth. Focus the awareness on the center of the navel chakra, and hold it to the best of your ability. This is filling like a vase. Because all illusory wheel practices are done from this state, it is only enumerated among the divisions of the illusory wheel. If you cannot bear the breath, exhale slowly from the nostrils without letting it escape from the mouth. This should be known in all cases where there are no special provisions. Rotating like a wheel is: With the legs in the lotus position, hold the big toe of the right foot with the right hand, and hold the big toe of the left foot with the left hand. Straighten the waist upright, and rotate the abdomen and waist three times to the right. Rotate to the left in the same way. Then bend from left to right, bend from right to left, push once from front to back, and push once from back to front. Bending like a hook is: Hand
