Now, I will explain the meaning indicated by the terms such as the ten Bhumis, places, and nearby places. What do these places and so on become to be places? They are the limbs of the glorious Heruka's body, such as hands, and the essence of joints and so on. That is, the twenty-four places such as the head of Heruka, reside in the nature of the twenty-four places, and their symbolism indicates the meaning of the ten Bhumis. All the limbs of Heruka are the nature of the stable vessel and the moving essence, which means that the stable and moving are subdued in the three lands of underground, above ground, and above the ground. The heroes and yoginis of the three lands are the meaning of residing in the parts of Heruka's body. For those who have the nature of stability and movement, recite "Bhava, all limbs, head, strength." Its meaning is to take the head as the form aggregate and the strength as the remaining aggregates, and the land and places are the nature of the aggregates, which are the limbs and essence of the glorious Heruka. The second part has two points: the places and so on indicate the ten Bhumis, and the ten places and so on indicate the universal inclusion of everything. The first part has two points: general meaning and specific meaning. The first part has three points: the way each of the names of the lands such as Pramudita is spoken, the contradiction of the different statements about the places and so on is eliminated, and the classification of the disciples for whom these are spoken. The first point is: In this root tantra, from the place and nearby place to the charnel ground and nearby charnel ground, the ten Bhumis from Pramudita to Dharmamegha are explained. In the explanatory tantra, adding the two of drinking blood and near drinking blood on top of the ten places and so on, it says, "These are the twelve Bhumis," thus stating that the twelve places and so on are the twelve Bhumis. It is also stated in the same way in the Two Examinations. The twelve Bhumis are: Bhava Bhadra, Shantipa, Krishnapa, and the commentaries on Hevajra Tantra and ManNye composed by Padma'i Myugu, etc., explain by adding the Adhimukticarya Bhumi and Prabhavati on top of the ten such as Pramudita, with Adhimukticarya being drinking blood and Prabhavati being near drinking blood. Yeshe Thigle explained the sixteen Bhumis, which are: From there, "Places and so on are the places of joy, expressed by the sound of the earth. Adhimukticarya is the first Bhumi, the second is Pramudita, the third is Vimala, the fourth is Arcismati, the fifth is Prabhakari.

Sixth, the Difficult to Conquer. Seventh, Manifest. Eighth, Far Gone. Ninth, Immovable. Tenth, Good Intelligence. These are the grounds of Bodhisattvas. The Cloud of Dharma is the ground of Buddhas. All-Illuminating is the ground of Perfectly Complete Buddhas. All-Illuminating Emanating Light is the ground of the Emanation Body of the Glorious Vajrasattva, the Bhagavan. All-Illuminating Attained Light is the ground of the Enjoyment Body. Inexpressible, Immeasurable is the ground of Great Bliss. That is a distinction of all joys. On the ground, it is universally established. Thus it is said. Also, in that same text, it says: Always with the Emanation Body, the ground is to be remembered as the eleventh. The Enjoyment Body is the twelfth. The Dharma Body is the thirteenth ground. Great Bliss is the fourteenth. Whatever is the fifteenth ground, that is called the Wisdom Ground. The sixteenth is not conceivable. Thus it is also said, therefore there are sixteen grounds. Among these, the ground of faith and practice, as explained by Vajra Secret as the four: heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme, is the ground of ordinary beings. The remainder of those are the grounds of the noble ones. In the Wisdom Bindu, the distinction between Buddha and Perfectly Complete Buddha is: The Great Being Simhasena said: The tenth ground is a Bodhisattva, it should only be called a Buddha, but not a Perfectly Complete Buddha. Because it appears thus. Thus, distinguishing the difference between the two is the intention of the Ornament of Clear Realization, and it is similar to that. In Man Nye, the difference is also distinguished in the same way. If the Joyful Ground is taken as the first ground, then All-Illuminating is the eleventh. Dividing that into the three bodies and the Great Bliss Body, each ground is established separately, thus there are fifteen grounds. Also, the Wisdom Body is called the Wisdom Ground, which is the fifteenth counted from the first ground, however, it is the sixteenth counted from the ground of faith and practice. Thus, the Suchness that is free from all defilements is the Dharma Body, and the Wisdom Body is the realized Wisdom Dharma Body. In the commentary on the Wisdom Bindu, it is also said that there are sixteen grounds. Therefore, in this system, it is not that one does not make more than fifteen grounds. In the Explanatory Tantra, on top of the ten grounds such as Joyful, the Incomparable and Possessing Wisdom, the Vajra Ground is the thirteenth.
