This seventh chapter, "All is Self," should be connected to the third chapter, "By Self." Therefore, it is said that it is not from the lineage, which is also reflected in the view of Lawapa. In the currently translated tantra, there seems to be a statement like, "All is Self, at one time." However, as Lawapa said, time should be indicated by permanence. Therefore, "True Place" should be understood as the meaning of permanence, and the meaning of "All is Self" should remain as before. This tantra is the meaning of personally hearing from the teacher by all the compilers. The place where he resides is the realm of great bliss, and who is the teacher who resides there? It should be connected to "This is the Self-Born Bhagavan," as Lawapa said. In this way, this tantra has the beginning, "Thus I have heard, at one time, the Bhagavan." However, the words "All Tathagatas" and so on are not clear in the explanatory tantra, nor are they clear in the two commentaries. So, if those contents are also needed here, should it be connected as stated in the explanatory tantras *Oral Instructions* and *Compendium*, "From the body of all Tathagatas" to "residing in the bhaga of the consort"? Or, should it be connected as stated in the *Lexicon*, "The Bhagavan resides in the secret essence net of the Vajra Dakinis and Dakini hosts of all Tathagatas"? In response to this, the *Clear Explanation* says that the complete stage Mother Tantra indicated by "Thus I have heard" etc. of the skillful means tantra, indicated by "Secret" etc., is mainly focused on Chakrasamvara. There, after explaining the Bhagavan, the meaning of the Dakinis and Dakini hosts of all Tathagatas will appear. Therefore, although there is not much difference in meaning, the words should be like the *Lexicon*. For these, in the explanatory tradition of the two translators, the part before "at one time" is the same, while the four lines "All is Self, indicates the place, all Dakinis are real" indicate the teacher, and the two lines "arising" indicate the complete retinue. Second, the "Thus I have heard" indicated by secret is that all the collections of tantras from "Then secret" to "is delighted in this and that," all indicate that only this arising, in the form of sound, without the obstruction of a container, is a fragment of words that is heard.

Then, this is called "E vam" in Chinese. Among them, "secret" refers to a representation of the Tathagata that is absent in worldly and sound treatises, as well as the representation of a hero, the representation of a yogini, and the language of barbarians. The latter is called the language of representation, and the following should also be understood. The meaning of "before," etc., is that previously, the semen and blood that cause the complete generation of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases. Because it is born and arises from that supreme bliss, it is the source, meaning that it indicates the supreme bliss wisdom born from the source of semen and blood, which is the meaning of E vam and secret. "The self proclaimed by the supreme" and "everything by oneself" refer to the fact that the compiler himself heard it directly, not through transmission, which is "Maya." "Extremely sacred" means most excellent. "Hearing proclaimed with joy" refers to hearing through the wisdom of hearing, not to the complete realization of all the meanings of the tantra, which indicates that if it were not so, there would be no difference between the teacher and the compiler. Moreover, this is not allowed in the context of explaining according to the established topic. What should be proclaimed is also proclaimed through the wisdom arising from hearing, and hearing is "Shruta." "Beginning, middle, and end" refers to combining with the beginning, middle, and end of the phrase "When secret is supremely joyful." "The simultaneous time indicated by constant abiding and true abiding" refers to hearing this at one time, and hearing other tantras at other times, which indicates that the compiler heard a lot. Hearing this once, and not hearing this at other times, indicates that it is difficult to obtain. Hearing this in one instant indicates that the compiler has excellent wisdom. This is called "Eka Smin Samaya" in Chinese. The Sanskrit of Bhagavan is "Bhagavan," where "Bhaga" means "share" and "Van" means "having," i.e., "one who has a share." The six shares are: In the Yoga Tantra, it says: "Freedom and beauty, Splendor and fame and wisdom, Diligence and perfect completeness, These six are called shares." It means that being perfectly complete with the six is called a share, and having these six is the meaning that is spoken of. Also, "Bhaga" is definite
