Nāropa said in the Unseizable Fruit Tantra that the tantra of meaning is divided into three. Śāntipa and Abhayākaragupta explained the cause tantra as the nature of mind. The sound that expresses these three as objects to be expressed is also called tantra, which here refers to the latter. Translating Samvara (Sanskrit Devanagari: Samvara, Sanskrit Romanization: Samvara, Chinese literal meaning: Supreme Bliss) into Cakrasaṃvara Tantra, it is considered that Sam (Sanskrit Devanagari: Sam, Sanskrit Romanization: Sam, Chinese literal meaning: Bliss) is happiness, and Vara (Sanskrit Devanagari: Vara, Sanskrit Romanization: Vara, Chinese literal meaning: Supreme) is supreme. In the latter part of the Union Tantra, then it should be expressed by the sound of vows. Sam means happiness. Vara means the meaning of being particularly superior. As it is said, The meaning of Samvara (Sanskrit Devanagari: Samvara, Sanskrit Romanization: Samvara, Chinese literal meaning: Supreme Bliss), both this and the previous two must be understood. The abridged version is spoken by abridging words from the extensive tantra. The second is that Bhagavan and Śrī are easy to understand. In the Union Tantra, it is said: Vajra is expressed as emptiness. Mind is only wisdom. Those who have attained self-nature are called Vajrasattva. As it is said, Vajra emptiness reaches the ultimate, and mind and wisdom merge into one and are accomplished. I prostrate to it, which is the translator's prostration. There are two in the third. First, the reason why "Thus I have heard" etc. are not directly mentioned. The actual explanation of the meaning of the words. The first is, if you ask why this tantra does not say "Thus I have heard" etc. at the beginning, because Kalden Drakpa extracted this tantra from the extensive tantra of one hundred thousand sections, and there it said "Thus I have heard" etc., so it is thought that it is not said in this later tantra. Some also think that it is because the teacher taught from non-abiding nirvana. Some also think that it is because for the unspeakable nature of reality, the object to be expressed and the teacher are regarded as one and not said. Others think that without "Thus I have heard" etc., the Great Vehicle is shown like naming. After listing four other sectarian views, one's own view is that the first Buddhas do not have a break, so this category of Dharma is an unbroken continuum from the beginning, existing earlier than Śākyamuni. Buddha One hundred million heroes, one hundred million have spoken well. It's like saying that. Its meaning is that due to the times, when fire kalpas etc. occur, when the Prajñāpāramitā Sutras etc. disappear, Śākyamuni Buddha again proclaimed it. Cakrasaṃvara is not like that, because the Buddha's

Those inexpressible pure lands are said to abide because they are practiced continuously. Some Tibetans refute the first view, saying that, as stated in the Two Examinations, which were abridged from the extensive Tantra of the Five Myriad Kye Dor, and shown separately, what contradiction is there if this Tantra, which was abridged from the Myriad and shown separately, also says "Thus I have heard," etc.? To that, merely taking as a reason that it is an abridged Tantra abridged from the extensive Tantra, if one thinks that "Thus I have heard," etc., are not shown separately from the extensive one, then that fault would apply, but that alone is not taken as a reason. What then? From the beginning of the Tantra, "Then the secret shall be explained," the word "then" appears at the beginning because this Tantra is abridged from the continuation of a previous Tantra like this, meaning that "Thus I have heard," etc., are not shown, but it is not thought that if it is a Tantra abridged from the extensive Tantra, then "Thus I have heard," etc., are not spoken. In Lavapa's commentary, it is also said that the word "then" indicates that it is the end of a previous Tantra. Therefore, to refute this system as before is to refute without fully understanding the previous position. Also, some Tibetans say that Lavapa said in the three hundred thousand verses of the Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara, "Thus I have heard," but this is not said because it is a later one abridged from that. This is not reasonable because it is said in the Vimalaprabha that the extensive Root Tantra does not have "Thus I have heard." Therefore, saying here that the later one abridged from the extensive Tantra that has "Thus I have heard" does not have "Thus I have heard" is, as previously explained, completely misunderstanding the previous position. Moreover, there is no contradiction between saying in the Vimalaprabha that the one hundred thousand verses of the Abhidhanaratnamala do not have "Thus I have heard," etc., and saying that the three hundred thousand verses do have them, because the sources of the two different extensive Tantras have already been explained. Therefore, it is very unreasonable to find fault with a great Indian adept like Lavapa who wears robes. This abridged Tantra also does not have clear words like "Thus I have heard," etc., but the Blessed One himself said that they exist in an unclear way and will be explained. The second view is also unreasonable because the Sutra of Characteristics
