Just as excrement becomes heavy, so too, afflictions such as desire are said to generate extraordinary fruits due to the distinction of a completely purified continuum. The master Śāntarakṣita also clearly explained this meaning in the Tattvasiddhi. Therefore, something that is not truly attachment is not named by that name. When engaging in using attachment to desirable qualities as a path, at the time of the causal motivation, it is with the mind of bodhicitta and the thought of being captivated by innate wisdom, aiming to generate it. Therefore, it does not contradict afflictions. It is by its power that body and speech become virtuous or non-virtuous, and not otherwise. Considering this, engaging in this action is explained as being without the thought of afflictions, but rather from self-grasping and so on, and it does not refer to the occasion of the motivation of time. Using such attachment as a path is not because it harms other afflictions by contradicting their grasping. What then? By that special basis, that attachment suppresses the faults of leading to bad migrations, etc., and it is made into a path by transforming it into a quick generator of the qualities of the higher path. The first of these is that,

It is not permissible to not move the Bodhicitta merely through other methods. Because that union requires the coemergent bliss that arises from first inserting the life-sustaining winds into the central channel and dissolving them. In order to obtain coemergent bliss, it is necessary to control the melting of the Bodhicitta like a lotus through the dissolution of the winds. For those who use attachment as a path in that way, although there is no meditation on the impure path that directly contradicts attachment and clinging, attachment will eventually be exhausted, because it is a path that follows the valid means that directly contradicts the root cause of attachment and clinging. Without combining with emptiness, which knows the nature of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana as emptiness, merely cultivating the bliss of the non-movement of Bodhicitta from the union of the two faculties does not harm the ignorance of true clinging, which is the root of existence. Therefore, the more one indulges in that bliss, the more the craving led by true clinging increases, just as a thirsty person mistakes a mirage for water and approaches it, such a thing is to be condemned. If one is able to combine bliss and emptiness as previously explained, because without that method one cannot fulfill the wishes of the beings of the three realms, one will not quickly attain Buddhahood, therefore it is praised through the swift path. Saraha said: Whoever does not know the nature of all things, and cultivates great bliss at the time of the lotus, is like a thirsty person finding a mirage, even if he dies of thirst, he will not find water in the sky. Abiding between the two, Vajra and Padma, with what bliss does one play, if one cannot rely on that, how will one fulfill the wishes of the three realms? Thus he said. In the tantra "Established as Thatness" it is quoted: After thoroughly examining and analyzing, the wise should enter, otherwise entering with fire, even sixteen parts cannot withstand it. Knowing thatness by thatness, whoever relies on the goddess, that will be accomplished, otherwise one will fall into the great hell. And in "Secret Accomplishment" it is also said: Thatness is the precious, pure self, completely abandoning duality, after abandoning the excellent means, violating vows and so on, otherwise whoever will accomplish, that will suffer crying and so on. Just as fire burns, there, a pile of grass and wood, if put in, will turn to ashes.

change. Sprouts and the like will not arise either. Likewise, even though that does not exist, it acts as if it were amazing. As long as the sky exists, after death one will go to hell. Like this, the wise should carefully and thoroughly examine before entering. If one is not skilled in thoroughly determining the meaning of suchness, which abandons all elaborations, but takes attachment to desirable qualities, both general and specific, as the path, the faults are extremely serious. Although this is said, those who are proficient in the subtle reasoning of profound definitive meaning scriptures, such as Nagarjuna, and thus thoroughly understand them, are extremely rare. Due to this key point, it seems that those who want to become mantra practitioners in this area have very little understanding of classification. Therefore, those with wisdom should: From the accomplishment of skillful means and wisdom, Settle the mind in the essence of enlightenment, For the objects, Rejoicing in happiness, one will achieve in this very life. By nature, all these are completely pure, Ordinary objects are selfless like illusions, Like magic tricks and eye disorders, Freed from the false imputations of non-places. When a noble person has great thoughts, And a mind without grasping is fully realized, Then, the innate realization overwhelms, And the power of these objects cannot bind. Like this, the bliss of dissolution arising from enjoying desirable objects, and although not even a particle of inherent existence exists in all dharmas, everything is reasonable, in the manner of dreams and illusions, from the perspective of the two truths without inversion, with the innate wisdom of bliss and emptiness combined, for those who do not have skillful means, as it is said, with subtle, intelligent, and vast wisdom, one should constantly examine the means of generating the innate wisdom of combining bliss and emptiness. Second, the specific explanation of the supreme conduct is divided into three: the way the classification of conduct is explained, the characteristics of each of the three conducts, and the ritual for learning conduct. First, in the fifth chapter and the seventh chapter of the root tantra, respectively, the names are universal Excellent conduct, and mantra.
