Not making mandalas for writing and offering, not doing fire offerings in outside stoves, not erecting stupas such as tsatsas, not doing the work of stupas, not reading scriptures, avoiding physical exertion, not prostrating to cloth paintings and stone or wooden Buddha images, not taking refuge in Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, not paying attention to dates, etc., all of these are perfected only by the inner self, as stated in the Compendium of Practices, this is the occasion for the practice of the completion stage. Except for binding mudras and drawing mandalas, etc., during the occasion of practice. From the Guhyasamaja Tantra and many other tantras, as well as the Guhyasiddhi and Dohas, it is mistaken that it should not be done. Initially, even from the beginning of the first practitioner, those with sharp faculties do not do these things all at once, and doing so will cause many with dull faculties to gradually do them. Secondly, regarding what to rely on to act, this extremely inactive behavior, those with consorts say that it is done only by those in the completion stage. Krishnacharya said that both stages can be done, and the latter should be done as Je Gho approves. The place should be as stated in the tantra, in completely secluded mountains and watersides, and in places by rivers and cemeteries, etc., so do not build three-story houses, etc. The assistant for preparing food is to employ Yakshinis, etc., or a supreme practice companion, or to prepare food from a large gathering. The latter is that Patsab translated it as preparing some rice from the minister, that is, the wealthy such as ministers act as patrons. If one is able to employ Yakshinis, then whether it is an active or inactive behavior, wealth will come, so it is not necessarily only done when there are no resources. There are four differences in thought, the first is that, for the time being, the practitioner should first remember the suffering of beginningless samsara, and because they desire the bliss of nirvana, they should abandon all hustle and bustle, and even cultivate the concept of suffering for the power of the kingdom. The second is in the new and old translations, even for things as small as sesame seeds, one should abandon the thought of completely clinging to them.

Being good at transformation means not accumulating or clinging to even sesame-sized objects. One should not engage in the real clinging to true clinging. Third, regarding the realization of the ultimate truth of luminosity, one should have faith and not even care about one's body and life. Fourth, one should not seek even the smallest worldly siddhis or the eight great accomplishments, as they lead to distraction and regression. Practitioners of the generation stage have the complete characteristics of bodhicitta. Although they generally have the desire to attain Buddhahood, after completing the generation stage, they do not cultivate the paths of the completion stage but are instead lured by common siddhis and engage in practice. Therefore, except for the second thought, the other three should be applied to practitioners of the completion stage. The difference in mudras is stated in the Compendium of Practices: "Therefore, abandoning external women and entering into samadhi with the wisdom mudra residing in the heart, one should contemplate that one will quickly attain Vajradhara." Thus, the wisdom mudra refers to practicing alone. As for the jnana mudra, practitioners of the generation stage emanate a form deity from their heart, while practitioners of the completion stage call the practice of emptiness itself the jnana mudra and entering into samadhi. Although Jetsunma says this, practitioners of the completion stage also enter into samadhi with a deity in the form of a consort. The Lamp Illuminating the Five Chapters states: "If a real mudra is not found, then extract the Mother of the Buddhas, the Prajnaparamita, who dwells in one's heart, and accomplish it by entering into samadhi with her, along with the means of knowing." The Sixteenth Chapter states: "Meditative three syllables, Vajradhara, contemplate one's own mudra with the mind. Therefore, the all-knowing Buddhas will undoubtedly be pleased." In the commentary on this, the text explains practicing with the jnana mudra. The meditators of the three-syllable Vajradhara, that is, the yogis of the three vajras such as Vairochana, who do not rely on external women, are not given the Vajradhatvishvari residing in the heart as their own mudra. Therefore, if an external woman is not found, it is said to rely on the jnana mudra, because the jnana mudra cannot generate the samadhi of great bliss like relying on an external woman.
