Now. The order of decorating with offerings there is: in the lower room, many vessels are placed; in the middle room, instruments such as the lute, songs, and music are placed; in the upper room, it is decorated with the previously mentioned jewels, as well as bells, whisks, banners, etc., and it is a place where the auspicious and excellent fortunate yoginis and yogis gather. Before that, the two behaviors are the same. There, if it is an active behavior, then arrange the seats of the twenty main deities and the twenty-one, covered with various lotus cloths. If it is inactive, then it should be equal to the number of the assembly. The changing of attire for male and female yogis is as described in the Samyoga, and it is also mentioned from the gathering place. In the sixteenth chapter, it says: The vajras of body, speech, and mind, the meditation of body, speech, and thought, do it in your own way, and in this way, you will attain accomplishment. It says so, and its commentary says: Your own way, that is, doing it by changing the attire itself, merely meditating is not enough. Therefore, when the yogi of the three vajras performs the behavior of wise asceticism, it is said in this way to both oneself and the mudra. The materials for the mask are: the 'Compendium of Practices' translated by Lotsawa and Patshab, and the 'Samyoga' translated separately, say that it arises from the elements, life, and channels. The latter, Chak translates as arising from the roots of living beings, which is better. Therefore, masks should be made from the elements of precious substances such as gold and silver, and from living beings such as human bones, and from tree roots, etc. The 'Lamp of Clarity' also says: It should be made from trees, etc. The method of making is: casting into shape, carving in relief, making it appear by hammering, or painting is also fine. Moreover, the face, hands, etc., and the body color and hand implements, should be made as the deity is. The old translation of the 'Compendium of Practices' and the Chak translation say: For those who manifest and face their own deity, surround them with accomplished mudras. In this way, it is said that the consort here does not need accomplished mudras, but Patshab says: The masks of one's own deity do not produce accomplished mudras. In this way, surround the accomplishment that does not produce the mudra of changing attire with the masks of one's own deity.

The meaning is that, even when translated separately from the 'Union,' it is as stated, 'In the attire of one's own deity, thoroughly perform the mudra of accomplishment.' In the new translation of 'Collection of Practices,' it says, 'Rituals or protrusions, Manifestly accumulating well-written, Various forms of images, Thoroughly examine the symbolic mudra.' Here it says that the meaning of the symbolic mudra is not explained as a mask, because in the tantra, the symbolic mudra is clearly explained as a hand gesture. Therefore, it is good that Patshab (translator's name) translated 'various forms of images' by separating them. In the new translation of 'Collection of Practices,' it says, 'Those women who possess their own deity, those who are well-trained, the virtuous ones are marked by their own mudra, one should examine the gathering circle.' The meaning of the first sentence here, as the tantra translates separately, is 'Similar to one's own deity,' the way of similarity is as Patshab said, 'With the masks of one's own deity, skillfully accomplish women,' it should be understood in this way. However, it is good to translate it as 'well-trained.' Transforming the attire of the number of deities in the mandala into male and female yogis placed in various places is called the gathering circle. And in the 'Root Tantra of Union,' it is also said that initiation is given to disciples here. This is also the yogi who performs the practice in the center of the mandala, and the four women in the first layer of the east, south, west, and north directions, respectively, are: Bliss Supreme Illusion Mother, Emaho Bliss Mother, Lamp Mother, and Flesh-eating Mother, these four reside in the form of goddesses. The last one was translated by Chak (translator's name) as Rabbit-faced Mother. They are the women who practice together. The four directions from the east and south in a clockwise direction are, in order, the four women: Buddha's Bodhi Mother, Dharma Wheel Mother, Three Realms Victorious Mother, and Desire's Iron Hook Mother, these four reside in the form of goddesses. The four directions from the fire in the outer second layer in a clockwise direction are, in order, the four women: Flute Woman, Lute Woman, Single-string Woman, and Dense-string Woman, these four reside in the form of goddesses. The latter three are the Pipa Mother, the Round Drum Mother, and the Clay Drum Mother, which can be known from the chapter on the mudras of the Union.
