Moreover, this also comes from the Yogacarabhumi. Here, due to the two cases of being related and unrelated to views, the luminosity of the base is recognized, and thus it is divided into two types: realization and non-realization. For these, the oral instructions at the time of death are: from the dissolving order of earth dissolving into water, etc., remember from like smoke to like a burning lamp, and then remember the oral instructions of the three emptinesses, and the method of guiding emptiness with the path, practice the oral instructions of the two life forces and the two meditations. From the Sadhana of Lui-pa it says: The mind is the resting yogi, Nirvana is not the nature of the teachings, At the time of transference, the yogis are victorious, The blood drinkers and others are yoginis, Holding various beautiful flowers in their hands, With various victory banners and flags, Various pleasant musical sounds, Various offerings of songs and dances, The thought of death is a delusion, Leading to the realm of the Dakinis. The meaning of what is said is that, at the time of transference, that is, at the time of death, the heroes and heroines come holding various offerings in their hands, leading to the realm of the Dakinis, that is, merging into the clear light, as stated in the three commentaries such as the commentary of Lawapa. Therefore, it is said that even from the outside, one can merge into the clear light through such circumstances. The meaning of the first and second lines is: Nirvana, that is, death, is not ultimate, but it is also said that it is merely the rest of the mind, like moving from one dwelling to another. Here, what is said in Chakrasamvara is symbolic, therefore, for those who purify vows and commitments, respect the guru, the generation stage of the special deity, and the strong respect for meditating on the yidam, their respective special deities will take care of them at the time of death, which is the visible benefit in this life. If one fails to achieve the illusory body in the clear light after death and falls into the nature of the bardo, failing to attain liberation in the bardo, then it is said in the Condensed Five Stages: Having attained the state of clear light, manifest enlightenment, The diligent one in this very life, The lazy one at the time of death, The lowest in the intermediate state of existence, The supreme one, having attained the body, benefits sentient beings. If someone asks why this is so, it is because the clear light of enlightenment after realizing the clear light, the superior one realizes in this life, the intermediate one in the clear light of death.

It is realized at what time. Ultimately, it means attaining excellence by realizing in the bardo. It does not mean attaining Buddhahood at the very moment of the clear light of death, nor does it mean attaining Buddhahood in the bardo itself. Ultimately, it must be done by attaining Buddhahood through rebirth. Mixing with the bardo: If one can mix with death, then in the bardo, one can also mix with the power of attraction as mentioned before. However, in that case, when the characteristic of the bardo is accomplished, it is generated by the faith and devotion to the form of one's own deity. A special method for seizing the bardo is: In the waking state, by meditating on the four emptinesses of sleep, one can generate it well with strength. After that, it is the instruction for generating the illusory body of the symbolic example. If there is not that much power, but one seizes it with the desire of dreams, there is also a good method. If those are not there, then when contemplating the instructions of death, one must get used to contemplating the ways in which the bardo is accomplished at the end of death, and meditating on the form of the illusory body. Third, in the Condensed Five Stages, it says, "The three bardos should be mixed." Therefore, this indicates that one must also understand the mixing of the three deaths and the three births. Although the terminology for these mixtures does not appear explicitly in the texts of the Father and Son, the meaning does exist. The three bardos are: the bardo of existence and the bardo of dreams are the same. Many followers of the Mar tradition have coined the term "bardo of birth and death," which refers to the present aggregate body from the time of birth until death. However, if divided into two base bardos and one path bardo, making three in total, it is in accordance with the texts of the Father and Son. That is, as the illusory body is spoken of as the bardo in the Five Stages, there are two aspects to this: the actual and the subsequent. The three deaths are: the well-known death, and the key point of explaining the dream body as the bardo, so the emptinesses of sleep before that are taken as the death of sleep, and the death of the path in the completion stage, where the four emptinesses are generated in the order of death, that is, the two base deaths and the one path death. The three births are: the birth of the bardo of existence taking rebirth in the womb, and the birth of the dream bardo re-entering the gross aggregate body in the waking state, and the aggregate body of the illusory body bardo.
