Other experiential views are dreams that are not seized by the power of wind dissolving into the central channel, but are seized by other means. For those with good experiences, various appearances of pure lands and deities arise in the waking state, but these are not real; they are merely appearances similar to them. Similarly, only appearances similar to pure lands, etc., arise, but they are not real. The proof of this is mentioned in the samadhi, etc., where the Buddha is presently manifestly abiding, but I have not written it down for fear of too many words. The experiential views, etc., of dreams seized by the power of wind are very different from the former, but until the power of mixing is not reached to a very high level, the appearances of the support and supported of the pure land are the same as before. Therefore, there will sometimes be some predictions of past and future that are not deceptive, but there will also be many deceptive ones, so it is difficult to trust them completely. For those who are accustomed to and stable in seizing dreams by the power of wind, it seems that a special method will arise from a certain point, by which one can predict the past and future without deception. These differences, which are not mainly about mixing with dreams, are not clearly explained in the large, qualified treatises, but they seem to be helpful to people now. Therefore, seizing dreams by the power of wind is the main thing, so one must strive for that. Even if one strives for that, it seems very difficult to arise, so one should seize it by other means of seizing, and then rely on that to strive for seizing by the power of wind, and one should not be satisfied with just that. If one does not know the uncommon instructions for mixing with dreams, one will not be able to practice the realization of the illusory body, which is the symbolic example of the waking state, or even if one knows it, that realization will not become special, one will not be able to accomplish the supreme, and one will not know the special ways of mixing with the bardo at death. Therefore, one must also be skilled in these, as mentioned before. For seizing dreams, there are two stages: the basis and the path, and the latter is divided into two: common and uncommon with other vehicles, and the latter is also divided into two: main and secondary, etc. If one understands these, then dreams and illusion

Having well distinguished the actual and incidental meanings of combining the body, one will not miss the essential points of the instructions. The remaining details not explained about this combination will be explained elsewhere. The second has three parts: the method of combining to attain enlightenment in the bardo, the method of combining to attain enlightenment through lifetimes, and the presentation of the classification and summary of the combinations. The first is: In general, developing the path according to the sequence of the ground of death, the sequence of the arising of the bardo, and the sequence of taking rebirth, is called carrying the three kayas in the three states of birth, death, and bardo, and the term 'combining with the three states of birth, death, and bardo' is used. Thus, the path of three combinations is established for all three: attaining enlightenment in this life, in the bardo, and through lifetimes, and the path is established for both the generation and completion stages. The combination of actual death and clear light is explained in the 'Condensed Practice' and 'Lamp Illumination' in relation to attaining enlightenment in the bardo. Now, how much realization of the path has that person attained in this life? The 'Condensed Practice' says: 'Seeing the truth, realizing the completion stage, and knowing the suchness.' And the 'Lamp Illumination' says: 'Realizing the sequence of completion.' This is explained for those of the Ngos lineage who are not accustomed to attaining union, and it is also said that they have abandoned rebirth but have not abandoned death. In the third stage, it says that if one attains the illusory body, one will definitely attain enlightenment in that very life. And in the second stage, it also says: 'Having well attained perfect enlightenment, one goes near to the pure realm. Since one does not turn back in the Buddhafield, one knows all things in this very life.' So, it says that if one attains the fourth stage, one will attain enlightenment in this very life. Therefore, attaining enlightenment in the bardo is not attaining the illusory body and clear light. Furthermore, it says that after attaining the fourth stage, the three appearances are completely purified. This means directly realizing the nature of reality, and the 'Uttaratantra' says: 'The noble ones have completely abandoned the suffering of death, old age, and sickness. Born due to karma and afflictions, but since that is not there, that is not there.' So, even the noble ones of the Great Vehicle of the Perfection of Wisdom are said to have abandoned death due to karma, so what need is there to say that the noble ones of the Secret Mantra have abandoned it? This is not abandoning death due to karma. Furthermore, the 'Condensed Practice' says: 'One of the two explained here is practice'
