Dawn is spoken of as the time before the sun rises. When the sun rises, light spreads, and when the sun sets, it is ignorance, and when the moon rises, it is light. After explaining this, when showing the inner Abhisamaya, first, like a mirage, one sees a collection of five rays of light. Second is appearance, like the rays of the moon. Third is the increase of appearance, like the rays of the sun. Fourth is the attainment of appearance, like darkness. Then, in the moment of separation from darkness, light appears, which is extremely clear and has the characteristic of always appearing. Seeing the self-nature of ultimate truth with the eye of wisdom. Thus it was said. Here, for the disciple, the first of the two outer and inner enlightenments shown by the lama is: if one divides the outer day into four parts and explains the four emptinesses as they are, then the fourth emptiness is the moment of enlightenment, and it is not reasonable that it is the realm of the yogi himself. If one uses the four skies of that time as examples to show the four emptinesses, then the inner four emptinesses are also like that, so one cannot distinguish between outer and inner, because in the inner case, the moon, sun, and darkness are also used as examples to show. If one does it to generate the wisdom of the four emptinesses in four times, then in each of those four times, the four emptinesses will not arise at the same time, so from where can one distinguish the difference between the two outer and inner enlightenments? On this, Je Gös said: Nāropa's view, and the views of the consort and the two Black Samaya Vajras, that is, the first of the two systems is: explaining the four parts of a day as the four emptinesses is a direct meaning because it is an example of the nature of reality, time, signs, and symbols, that is, the outer Abhisamaya. The definitive meaning is the inner Abhisamaya, that is, through action seal and absorption, when the Bodhicitta Vajra reaches the root, waist, and Vajra vase, then when one seals those three pleasures with emptiness and meditates, then at the time of the three appearances of the path and the two losses and two abidings, the wisdom of bliss inverting the self-nature conceptualization is all empty and clear. The second is: using the four outer examples to symbolize the four parts separated from the sudden conceptualizations to be refuted is the outer enlightenment and meditation.

That which is shown from the experience of integrating illusion into luminosity is said to be the inner Abhisamaya. In terms of hand measurements: The four emptinesses said to be divisions of a day and night are understood to be the inner four emptinesses that have those names. The fourth emptiness that relies on karma mudra, and the fourth emptiness that relies on wisdom mudra, or that is obtained through the sequence of the five signs such as mirages, is said to be the inner Abhisamaya. The commentaries "Moonlight," "Meaning Clear," "Damtsik Dorje Commentary," and Thubpa Pal also say that the four emptinesses spoken of in the outer context refer to the inner four emptinesses, and the difference between outer and inner is not clearly distinguished. If we analyze according to what was said earlier, those who distinguish the difference between outer and inner cannot answer the questions, and the explanations of those who do not distinguish the difference do not seem to be able to answer the questions either. This place is very difficult to understand, and it seems very important, so it needs to be investigated. This needs to be understood based on what is said in the fifteenth chapter of "Lamp Illuminating." In the root tantra it says: A woman born from a Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, or Shudra caste should practice the Vajra Dharma Lord. This is the method for obtaining secrets. After the Vajra Sun sets, one should diligently engage in practice. At the time when dawn appears, one will achieve through excellent meditation. It is said. The meaning of this is explained in the commentary as follows: The Completion Stage practitioner takes any one of the four castes of consorts, and relying on her, the Dharma that is indestructible like a vajra is the yoga of the Completion Stage. Its nature is the practitioner who realizes this and possesses it, which is the Vajra Secret, that is, one should practice the practitioner who can obtain Vajradhara. This needs to be perfected through the sequence of Abhisamaya, and the method for this is indicated by the four "Vajras." Among these, the two outer and inner Bodhi stages, if explained according to the first, the Vajra Sun is the actual sun. After sunset, that is, after the time of twilight when the sun has completely set, one should please the guru with whatever one can find. Then, through the kindness of the guru, one obtains empowerment at midnight. At the time when dawn appears, that is, after the part of the night that symbolizes light has passed, at the time when the sun has not yet risen, one can also achieve through the prophecy of the Abhisamaya sequence.
