It is exhausted. This is said to allow luminosity to enter through the second dhyana, but the illusory body of union is not said to allow luminosity to enter through the second dhyana, so it is the illusory body of the third stage. Abiding in this will not become the fault of proclaiming that one has not attained the ground of the noble ones, therefore, what is said here that ordinary beings cannot see refers to others besides himself, that is, just as it was previously said that Brahma and others cannot see, it is that ordinary beings who have not attained the illusory body cannot see. For some samadhis that do not even possess a few aspects of these qualities, they are identified as having truly attained the illusory body of the wisdom body and are taught, this is because they do not understand the limits of the accomplishment of this body, the way this body is accomplished, and the faults of not knowing what qualities there are in practicing this body. The deity generation method of the mantra body of the generation stage and the wisdom body of the completion stage are not clear in other treatises, therefore, all the statements about the deity generation method at the time of the completion stage are considered by many who hold other tenets to be the generation stage, even for those who have practiced this tenet, they have distinguished between the two deity bodies, but I think it is very rare for them to be able to distinguish between the two well, therefore, with the thought that "if I can't do this", I have clarified this extremely secret place. The third part is divided into two points: how it arises from the pith instructions, and explaining it by combining this meaning with the treatise. The first point is: what is said in the golden book of the Marpa tradition, the way the recognition of the actual illusory body arises is: in the Four Meanings Tantra, the illusory body is: the noble fathers and sons consider illusion to appear like an illusion but is empty of self-nature, the body is considered to be the deity body, therefore, the deity body is something that appears but is empty of self-nature. The cause of its arising is: practicing the deity body of the generation stage, and practicing emptiness samadhi through the clinging to the reality of clinging to the deity body of the generation stage, just like a bubble bursting in water, or a fish jumping in a clear river, the deity body of skillful means and wisdom clearly appears. That is, the four non-male and non-female letters that dissolve into the indestructible bindu, the bindu appears as the deity body, the mother represents emptiness, the father represents appearance, and by mutually uniting, the blissful taste of appearance and emptiness arises. The short vertical line-like A letter abides in the five rays of light, that is the body of wind and mind, therefore, gather it into it and practice.

Ma. It is said that the deity of the illusory body is also meditated upon within the Dharma origin, which is white on the outside and red on the inside. In the 'Wheel Holder,' it is also said: Meditating on the bindu gathered in the indestructible bindu in the center of the inner lotus, appearing as the form of the deity father and mother, like a reflection in a mirror. In the 'Completion of the Five Stages,' it says: The clear light of learning to meditate by focusing the mind on the bindu, and when settling, the practice is to arise as the deity form from the empty bindu. This is a mistake that does not agree with the two major and minor instructions of that system. In the 'Five Meanings,' it says: That which abides in the five lights like an 'A-shad' (藏文:ཨ་ཤད་), is the reality of things, the body of wind and mind, so one meditates by gathering the mind on it. Since it is free from grasping at reality, it is not existent. Since it appears without self-nature, it is not non-existent, and thus one recognizes illusion. Since the body is the deity body, as explained by Arya Deva, the deity body is clear and empty appearance without self-nature, free from grasping, and that is made into the illusory body. Since it is illustrated by twelve examples of illusion, it is said that if one recognizes what is like a reflection in a mirror, one recognizes the illusory body. There, it says that the actual illusory body is the indestructible bindu, but from that itself, it is known that the bindu is what arises as the deity body. Therefore, it should also be known that from the two minor instructions, the short 'A' (藏文:ཨ) and the letter 'Hum' (藏文:ཧཱུཾ) are explained as the illusory body. In the 'Five Meanings,' it says: To practice the illusory body, there are two: the samadhi of illusion and the liberation of illusion. The first of these is: In a room, cut windows facing east and west, leaving openings. Above a copper vessel filled with saffron water, brandish a sword, and in front, place a mirror. Focus the mind and meditate on the appearance of the form of Vajrasattva painted on cloth. Since true clinging will not arise, one recognizes illusion. This is said to be an instruction for training in the generation stage. This is considered to be the meaning of what is said in the 'Five Stages': Vajrasattva well-painted, and so on. The method of preventing true clinging based on that is: In the instructions of the illusory three continuums of the golden platform, the first of the three illusions explained—samadhi, dream, and bardo—is the grasping of illusion. The first of the three of unifying practice and cessation is: Praising the deity form appearing in the mirror.
