Because it does not arise. Therefore, if you know how to protect yourself well and meditate, you will be wise if you know that there are no great obstacles. If you create obstacles violently, you are not wise even if you know the way to calm them. Generally, it is less obstructive to gather the breath with gentle means. When the breath is not purified at first, when the breath gathers, it produces a slight pain, and the method of eliminating it will be discussed elsewhere. That is not only to be considered from the aspect of pain relief, but also to consider that it will not be difficult to collect the breath again in the future, and not only that, but also to know that each previous collection of breath can also help the breath to enter the central channel, then you are wise. Therefore, according to the previous two methods, although it is possible to calm the pain of breath gathering, it is not obvious that each previous collection of breath helps to enter the central channel. The third method of elimination is good as long as it is done with violent means, but my own method is that the method of elimination must also be done with gentle means, not with violent means. Thus, the vajra recitation The key points are explained in detail. Although there are many vajra recitations in the instructions, like the complete explanation of vajra recitation in the chapters of Guhyasamaja, it does not appear in other tantras and treatises, and it is rare to explain it well in the Guhyasamaja way. Therefore, the Holy Father and Son did not explain other breath practices, but explained this one, in order to determine the ultimate meaning. Third, there are five points in learning the samadhi of mind free from elaboration, vajra of the heart: the reason why it is necessary to realize the nature of the mind; the way in which the state of mind is described in the scriptures; it is shown that the special method of realizing the nature of the mind is the unsurpassed tantra; the meaning of the tantra, the three appearances and the nature are shown; and the faults of not knowing it as it is and the benefits of knowing it are shown. The first point is: In general, those who abide in the Vajrayana, especially those who study and practice vajra recitation, and who want to attain Buddhahood, must seek to find out what the nature of their own mind is like, as it is said in the Compendium Sutra: Son of a lineage, abide in equanimity and individually awaken your own mind. And it is also said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: Bodhi is one's own mind.

To fully understand purity as it is. Furthermore, from the rules of the three baskets, it is said: Wandering alone and continuing for a long time, dwelling in the cave of the bodiless faculties, subduing the mind that is difficult to tame, one will be liberated from the bonds of Mara. Thus it is said, if one wishes to manifest the illusory body, one should abandon all five obscurations such as distraction and sleep, please the virtuous guru who has perfectly obtained the oral instructions of all the Tathagatas, and follow the explanatory tantras such as Yeshe Dorje Kunle Dudu, and realize the three consciousnesses of the self-nature's appearance, as stated in the Compendium of Practices. If one wishes to study mind isolation, to explain the reason why one must seek the nature of mind, three scriptural citations are quoted, showing that one must realize the suchness of mind. Some Tibetans and Indians say that the wisdom of mind isolation is the knowledge of the mind that is the subject of phenomena, but not the knowledge of the dharmata of mind, for if one knows it, it will become indistinguishable from luminosity. This is a refutation of that statement. The luminosity wisdom of the fourth stage directly realizes the dharmata of mind, but although mind isolation knows the dharmata, it does not become manifest, therefore it does not become indistinguishable. The three scriptural citations quoted as evidence from the sutras and the lower two classes of tantras, although not showing the three wisdoms of mind isolation, serve as reasons for explaining that one must realize the dharmata of mind. Second, if one must investigate the suchness of mind, then one might wonder what it is like? In this regard, the Compendium of Practices explains two ways of speaking from the Paramita Vehicle and the Mantra Vehicle, the first of which quotes the Lankavatara Sutra, saying that because one wants to know that the appearance of one's own mind, the conceptual thoughts of grasping and being grasped, are the realm of activity of the Buddha. One should abandon obscurations such as distraction and sleep, and the three, mind, intellect, and consciousness, are shown to be the root of all containers and contents. In the old translation of the Compendium of Practices, it says "the realm of activity of conceptual thought," but Chag's translation as "conceptual thought is the realm of activity of the Buddha" is better. Quoting the Sutra Requested by Bhadrakarunya, it says that consciousness takes the body and enters into lower states of existence.
