O. Because it is not tainted by its faults, and wherever consciousness transmigrates, the experience of happiness and suffering, the result of karma, also transmigrates there. And because the truth is not seen, it is shown that consciousness is not recognized. Summarizing those meanings, therefore, consciousness is without color, without characteristics, and without form, it is merely self-aware wisdom, as stated in the Mahayana Sutra. It is said that the nature of mind is the realm of the Buddhas, and the nature of phenomena is shown as the root of all. Although the mind enters various places of birth, its nature does not change. It shows that the meaning is not directly known by ordinary beings. The mind is empty of all characteristics in the ultimate sense, and in conventional terms, it has no color or shape. It does not depend on other cognitions, but is merely the consciousness that knows its own object. The way it is said in the Vajrayana is also the same. The nature of the mind, which is the realm of activity asked by the Buddhas, is without root, without place, without basis, without characteristics, without shape and color, beyond the senses, and not the realm of thinkers. This is what the Bhagavan said from the words that explain all the tantras. It is said that the true nature of the mind, when asked how to practice the solitude of the mind, is a common meaning with the Paramita Vehicle, not the solitude of the mind. In the "Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning," it is also said: There is no place, there is no object. Without root and without dwelling. It arises greatly from the cause of ignorance. Completely abandoned beginning, middle, and end. Like a water tree, there is no essence. Like a city of gandharvas. The city of delusion is unpleasant. Beings appear like illusions. It is said like this. In its commentary, it says: The place is the six sense bases, such as the eye, and the object is all phenomena. The root is the cause of the earth's meaning, because it is interdependent, it is not self-existent, and it is said to be like an illusion. Without a basis is without an object. Third, in the "Compendium of Conduct," it says: Without entering the great yoga tantras such as the gathering, in all the eons equal to the number of grains of sand of the Ganges wind,

also cannot know the true nature of one's own mind, and cannot realize the conventional truth." Thus it is said. Therefore, it has already been stated that without entering the Unexcelled Yoga, the view of the basis cannot be established. Even if it is established, it is not that it cannot be realized through meditation, because no one with authority has ever said that the Perfection Vehicle cannot attain the noble ground. If that is attained, it is contradictory to not directly realize the Dharma nature. It is also not said that the ultimate Dharma nature of the mind refers to the Dharmakaya, because the time of mental isolation is the time to analyze and understand the true meaning of the mind, hence it is said, "cannot realize the conventional truth." Therefore, the main object of realizing the suchness of the mind is the co-emergent bliss. If one does not enter the gate of the Unexcelled Yoga, then this wisdom cannot realize that state, and no matter which gate one enters, whether it is the Perfection or the lower tantras, one cannot obtain this result. The state that must be obtained through countless eons by other paths, the special quickness of the Unexcelled Yoga path that can be accomplished in one lifetime is that, with the great co-emergent bliss, one ascertains the suchness of meaning and meditates. As the Sambhuta Tantra says: "Therefore, what is the use of increasing that? In brief, one becomes a Buddha. Through countless billions of eons, if one can attain Buddhahood, you, with the supreme bliss, will attain it in this life." Thus it is said. Merely exhausting the afflictive obscurations, some Shravakas can also do in three lives. Directly realizing the meaning of suchness is also common to the two vehicles. Therefore, merely liberating from samsara quickly through the gate of quickly realizing emptiness is not the special quickness mentioned here. Therefore, this path needs to exhaust the cognitive obscurations very quickly. If, like the Perfection Vehicle, there is no method to train in the infinite differences of infinite accumulations of clarity, then even if one is thoroughly familiar with the view of emptiness, one can only be liberated from samsara, and cannot exhaust the cognitive obscurations. Therefore, the Mahayana practitioners, training for a long time in such infinite accumulations, is to realize
